Title: Resuming problems in kazaa
Post by: Seed_Of_Evil on May 23, 2003, 10:13:30 AM
I downloaded the latest version of kazaa lite 2.1.0) a couple of days ago, and I\'ve just noticed that the resume feature doesn\'t work here. It starts again from 0kb. What\'s going on? I\'ve looked for this problems in the HELP/FAQ but i haven\'t found anything related with this. Any of you has the same problem?

If you resume from a cancel it starts all over again. But from a pause or anything else it should pick up where it left off. Odd indeed.

Of course if you cancel the download, it will restarted. But the problem appears when it\'s in pause.

Other than the spyware how is Kazaa lite any better? I removed the add bar with spybot so I\'m good with normal Kazaa.

I think all programs running the KaZaa engine is a piece of crap.

I use Grokster for things, and I absolutely hate it. The download rates are horrible, un-reliable, and the program itself is just a time bomb waiting to explode.

Agree\'d. I\'ve used Kazaa based P2P programs and had no luck. On a 1.5 meg connection, was still havin\' problems gettin\' decent downloads. A lot of my searches turned up nothing and the list goes on and on.
