Friggin MOTHS ARE EVERYWHERE. And they aren\'t your little peanut sized moths either, these are those nasty fat ones with heads the size of marbles. It\'s great to here the *thud* when you give one a good whack with a fly swatter. But dang, I open my fridge for a midnight snack and a big one comes darting out, I nearly crapped myself. Then I turned on the kitchen light, and like an army about 4 big ones went straight to it. I hid amongst the shadows equipped with a standard $.50 fly swatter from WalMart... I gripped the handle tightly, and bent my knees slightly, crossing one foot over the other. I didn\'t want to knock the light out, so I had to be very accurate. The second one pulled slightly away from it, I gave the swatter a mighty swing and sent one sailing clear across the hallway. Feeling slightly psychotic, I then hit another and backhanded even another in two quick swipes.
This next part is totally true...
The final moth saw his companions fall and I swear he literally went after me! He pulled away from the light and I stared right into his ugly little face as he came at me head-on. In a panic, I stumbled backwards and hit the deck. I rolled onto my stomach and remained there, frozen. I saw him perched on the wall, alert just as I was. I got up slowly.... His antennae flickered... I grasped the handle to the swatter, and his wings fluttered quickly. And before a blink, I smashed his entire being deep into the wall and brown sludge staind the white wall.
I cleaned the place up, had some cookies and milk, and now I am here.

If you had opened the door and switched on a torch they would probably have followed you out.

I remember when I was visiting my Stepdad and this moth, the size of a football landed by our fire. We just ripped our .22 and popped that sucker. :laughing: Nothign was left except the wings.
I think moths are pretty cool- like the satanistbutterfly... :D
I hate spiders though- not afraid- just hate it makes everything seem ****ing filthy.

Spiders are creepy. The way they move, the way their invisisble webs outside get in your face , and how they look. Gah......

It\'s true....they are attacking.
Last night when I went on my break I was nearly killed. See I usually go outside to my car on breaks to listen to some tunes. There I was innocently listening to the radio when I hear some soft thuds coming from the back seat. I ignored at first because I thought it was just someone walking behind my car. Then it got annoying so I turned around. There was a HUGE moth flapping around inside my car. Luckily all I had to do was roll down the window. But what perplexes me is how the hell did it get inside my car!?

I was lying on my couch watching TV one night with my arm lying on the floor. I lift my hand up to scratch my head and a bigass wolf spider crawled out from underneath as soon as I took my hand out. I was scared out of my mind. I just froze there. Anyone who doesn\'t know what a wolf spider is, its probably the biggest and most poisonous spider in New Jersey. You know when you get bitten. Anyway, I remained frozen as this big fugger was crawling. Damn, it must have been almost the size of a floppy disk. I ran upstairs and grabbed the vaccum. I can\'t just run and smack it, they are fast and would attack me. I put on the pipe on the vaccum and sucked it up. It got stuck in the hose thats how big it was. It eventually made its way to the back but holy crap that was scary.

Yeah im not really afraid of a lot of bugs. I love some spiders. I used to have a tarantula when i was a kid and my mom would let me put it on my shoulder and hands. Never was bitten. Anyway, im glad we dont have a moth problem in chicago. The problem you people are having seems kinda freaky. The only bugs i really see around are either small spiders or centipedes, (damn bugs). My worse nightmare... Cicadas. God i hate those things! They make funny noises and they drop down on you from trees ans s***. Not only that put they have little claw like legs and they leave shells behind.
You know those little dirty ass rat kids when you were little that used to chase other kids around with the cicada shells? Man i hated those kids.

Taking a huge ****ing moth and taking that silky stuff off their wings and playing with it... its ****ing cool- softest thing in the world.

Last night I was lying in bed. Suddenly Richard Gere entered the room and he brought a gerbil with him. So naturally I get kinda freaked and asked Mr. Gere to go to hell (right after I snagged the gerbil out of his hands and had some good ole gerbil fun). True story.
