I went to the movies yesterday with some homies. We were all going to watch the Italian Job. My girlfriend wanted to watch Bruce Almighty. So we did. WE ALL did. That movie is FUNNY!!! Jim Carrey was great in that movie. I couldn\'t stop laughing!!
Then we stayed for Finding Nemo. A bunch of little kids all over the place. They all felt stupid, but shit I know a good movie when it hits me in the face, and Finding Nemo looked like a good movie. and it was. BEST PIXAR movie this year. It\'s funny, sweet, smart, and cool.
All in all, THOSE MOVIES ROCKED!!
Giga...Do you like Jazz?

My little brother loved Finding Nemo...
I think Pixar has alot coming for them.
Bruce Almighty Ill probably wait until its out on video- or maybe a chance of seeing it in the theatre only because Jim Carrey seems more slap-stick humor than anything else. His facial expressions are amazing.
-
Haha, saw Jim Carey on Conan last night. He\'s hilarious.
(PS. Eliza Dushku is HOT)
(PPS. I recomment Anger Management as well)
(PPPS. The reason I mention Anger Management is because I saw both films the same day (BA and AM that is)).
(PPPPS. Forgot to mention that indeed Brue Almighty is pretty funny.)
-
Yeah i wanna see bruce almighty. That looks like a F*ing riot. I highly doubt ill ever see that nemo movie but hey whatever works.

No only does he like jazz... he simply loves jizz.

In Bruce Almighty, the Daily Show guy (I think it\'s Steve Carel?) absolutely steals the show in my opinion. He\'s absolutely hilarious in one scene. I ended up seeing it twice, and the second time, his scene was the only thing I laughed at.
But it was fun. Didn\'t see Nemo, but I did see Anger Management. My expectations were too high for that movie. I didn\'t enjoy it as much as I wanted to. I thought having Sandler and Nicolson would\'ve been a lot funnier than it was.
Oh yeah, and if you see Bruce Almighty, stick around for the credits. They show outtakes.

I saw Bruce Almighty last weekend and thought it was Carrey\'s best in a LONG time. He is almost exactly like the character he played in Liar Liar, so its guaranteed to be humorous.
Finding Nemo was really good too, definately a movie to see with a chick though and not some pals. I was entertained through out it, good flick.

I think both these movies beat out Matrix Reloaded.

Only for the weekend. Total sales still favor Reloaded obviously. A suprising drop for the matrix though.

Finding Nemo was the shit...best pixar film I\'ve seen, and among the best animated films out.
-
I saw a tv program today about Finding Nemo and it seems like GOD. Wow! what a graphics, what animation! It\'s sound really kewl even though it\'s for children.

Man on the Moon, The Truman Show and The Majestic own you.
-
Yeah, I saw man on the moon for the first time on comedy central a few weeks back, it was a great movie :)
-
Finding Nemo looks sweet, not out here until next week (when school holidays start).
Are there any corny Australian accents??? Watched the trailer and the animation looked amazing.

Pixar is a talented bunch. At one time the Disney name held up Pixar and got Pixar the attention. Now\'a\'days its the other way around... People see things that say..
"From the makers of Toy Story..."
"From the makers of Monsters Inc.."
"From the makers of A Bugs Life...."
"PIXAR"
My point?
Pixar needs to dump Di$ney and do their own thing. One of which is that project they have always talked about doin\', a CG film for the mature audiences.

With sex scenes??????????????? :nerd:

Only from Hobbit gardeners :D
I don\'t get the question... do I like jazz?? wtf? No I hate jazz.
As for Nemo... my son likes it.
-
All Logan wants to do any more is watch his damn Finding Nemo DVD.
-
I heard somewhere that PIXAR\'s contract with Disney is up in a year or two. Currently the two split profits 50/50, but i\'m sure that now they can afford to call their own shots when their contract is up.
I thought that short film before Finding Nemo with the little guy inside the snowglobe was pretty funny. I think it was a sample of some of their early work in the early 90\'s.
-
There are some interesting write-ups about that snowglobe movie.
Apparently the chick had huge tits in the original short. And that is what made it funny. They I guess made it PC now and made her flat chested which I guess pissed off a lot of old school animation fans.

One of my college teachers works for Disney. Disney has NOTHING to do with the production of ANY Pixar movies, they simply have a contract saying that when a movie is released, Disneys name is tagged onto it.(And ofcourse they make some cash in the process.) The contract is soon to be up, and Pixar DEFINATELY does not need Disney... Disney knows this too.
Pixar will never do a "mature audience" film... They have too much of a good thing going for them.
-
I believe that Disney funded pixar when it was getting on its feet.
Im not sure though.
But I saw Bruce almighty last night.
On my scale a 9/10... That movie rocked, one of his best works.
And no I dont like jazz
