Alright, here\'s time to give thanks to those great independant small programs that make you\'re life a lot easier and was cheap or free.

• Synergy.. A great iTune\'s controller that displays all information I could want and even downloads the cover art for each MP3.

 Price: $5.00

• MpegJoin.. A life saver for when you are downloading small clips and want to join a bunch of those MPeg\'s together.

Price: Free!

• iTerm. A great terminal with tabbed windows. A  live off tabbed windows.

Price: Free!

• iGetter. Resume downloads. Nothin\' fancy, but beats doin\' it via curl everytime.

Price: Free! Until I decide to register it.hah.;)

• FINK . The greatest program for OS X. Run ported *Nix applications . I love this program. Thank\'s to it I can run KDE , Gnome, Xmms and a lot of other handy applications.

DAP (Download Accelerator Plus)
Getright
Virtual Dub
Winamp
Winace
Winrar
Goldwave
WinDVD
Trillian
Norton Antivirus 2002
Blackice or Sygate.

These programs are always installed on my machine.
All the other programs i couldn\'t live without are brought or have a trail period.

Adobe Photoshop -- who doesn\'t have this?
StyleXP -- not exactly something that is life saving, but it sure does add variety
TweakUI -- the best windows tweaking utility I\'ve ever used.
AIM -- I have it on all the time.
SmartFTP -- Although Kazaa is great for singles, I trade entire soundtracks through this (FREE) utility.
Quicktime -- It\'s what everyone uses these days for coding video at high quality with the best compression.  Nothing beats it, even on a PC.

That\'s enough for now.

I agree with ryu on stylexp. I can\'t stand win XP with the standard themes..
So that\'s on my list too. :)

Musicmatch?!  It\'s what I have to use for my Ipod and you use it willingly?!  Man, that program is total crap, what about it do you like honestly?  Other then the fact that I can use my Ipod with it, I can\'t find a single redeeming quality.

- Text Pad (The one you get from textpad.com *I think* I use this for ALL coding. Anything from C++ to HTML.)

Ooooooohhh I love programs that boost performance..

-Power defrag: Turns off computer so no programs are running while it defrags comp

-Belarc Advisor: Gives all your computer information, very helpful when you need to find information.

-Winzip

-Winamp

-KaZzA Updated Lite (The regular lite version has big issues)

-Trillian (One of my favorite programs of all time)

-AntiVir : One of the best/free antivirus protections ever.

Oh and um, photoshop, autocad etc. aren\'t "small" programs. I dont belive we were talking about those fellas (eventhough they are dope.
