Smells Like Teen Spirit? Huh? Descent song, but the greatest song in the past 25 years? It made a large impact in the music world, but I ceratinly didn\'t think it was great.
http://www.msnbc.com/news/924897.asp?0ql=c7p
and Lose Yourself is the 4th best?
What?
I\'m not even an M&M fan, but I certainly think some other stuff is better than that thing.
Whatever. Guess I am getting old. friggen Billy Jean at number 2... oye.
-
Go Nirvana.
But Kashmir should of been #1. Actually, I didn\'t think I saw it on the list at all. Oh well, even if it was completely objective, Teen Spirit still would of made the top 5 IMO.
-
they do these lists for money/sponsership
i hope you realize this
-
I\'d hope so considering they\'ve got to be kissing some serious ass to put Eminem on the list, let alone in 4th.
-
Personally Nirvana isnt that great of a band. Only a few songs are good. Smells like teen spirit the best song? I definetly do not think so.
If it could be my way: I\'d put Stairway To Heaven by led zepplin if I could. Not sure if its within 25 years but that song is amazing.

first of all, they didn\'t even pick Eminems best song...Secondly, as much as I like him he shouldn\'t have been in the top 15. The entire list is a frick\'n joke

My thoughts exactly. Like Jumpman said, VH1\'s other "Top 100\'s" are usually pretty damn good (See: Shocking Moments), but this...wow. I can deal with Teenspirit at #1, simply because the song was \'The Anthem\' in the early 90\'s, but the rest....wow. Simply incredible the bullshit they put on that list.
See Yuz.

I can\'t remember where I read it but I\'ve heard it from many different sources that the most popular song of all time was "Yesterday" by the Beatles.
