Title: Ultra ATA Controller Card?
Post by: GigaShadow on June 12, 2003, 05:46:28 AM
Just got a WD 160 GB HD and it came with a "free" Ultra ATA Controller Card... never heard of these.  What does it do and do I need it?

I have a new mobo so I shouldn\'t have any problems... ASUS P4PE... is this correct?  I shouldn\'t have to install the card?

that mobo supports ATA100

put the card in the closet (next to any AMD or ATi merchandise you may have)
