That is not right
"He was still breathing and his skull was opened and he was bleeding profusely," said Tukane.
This made me sick.

baboons are carniverous, and this suprises them that an unnantended infant is consumed? we take more and more land away from animals and we expect them not to react?
She said after the funeral they would contact a sangoma to check if the incident was not witchcraft related.
oh, what a modernized world we live in.

Maybe he was just hungry...? :)

Oh, no.... Not another "Baboon eating a baby" thread...
How many of these baby eating topics do we need?
I suggest you read one of the many other "Baboon baby eater" threads before posting another one. Keep this bumped so all the newbs don\'t flood us with baby skull sucking monkey threads.

"The mother of the dead child, Lettie Goitsimang Tukane (34), told City Press the baboon sank its powerful canines into the skull of her three-month-old son, removed the brain, climbed up a high telephone pole and ate the brain before fleeing into nearby bush."
Ouch.

Disturbing thing to read..I feel sick:crap:
Saomeng Phalatse of Sekhing said the whole episode boiled down to witchcraft, because it was unheard of that a baboon would eat a human being.
"Although some people with western beliefs do not believe it, we know for a fact that African chemistry works in these areas.
"A few years ago in Taung an inyanga, through her medicines, caused a young man to find himself with his bed and all on the top of his roof.
"The incident was even shown on Bop TV. Why should we not believe Tukane was bewitched?" said Gomotseng Badirwang, clutching her two-month-old baby.
huh??

That\'s right boys. It\'s got nothing to do with the animal being hungry. It\'s magic. Black magic. :p

The mother has to feel pretty bad about that. Wouldn\'t that mess someone up in the head. I mean after seeing anyone eaten alive, expecially if it is your kid, it would mess me up.

Yeah really. I coulndt even bring myself to answer questions. Thats the kind of shit people kill themselves over. This is by far one of the saddest and most sickening rediculous things i have ever heard. Its a damn baby and on top of that she found the baby with his F*ing scull ripped up. Not to mention that the baby was till breathing. WTFF I swear. Thats is so bogus it makes me wanna eat that baboons baby and then strangle the parents to death. Thats F*ed up.
-
Man that was disturbing. And that woman lost children before. She must be devastated.
-
man this is sad...
but my mom would have shot the damn baboon.
