Title: Aliens: Colonial Marines
Post by: Seed_Of_Evil on June 14, 2003, 01:28:34 AM: First, the game surprised, then was cancelled, then rumors that it was still in development... no info for months... and now some new screens. Of course the first footage showed was not that real :)

Post by: Kurt Angle on June 14, 2003, 02:17:57 AM: I\'m glad it hasn\'t been canned, the ps2 is overdue a decent Aliens game. These shots don\'t look too bad although the last one seems to have a few jaggies. Should be a good game if it is anything like the Aliens vs Predator pc games in terms of atmosphere etc.

But an all-out squad based action FPS based on Aliens has so much potential..

Yeah i wish i still had this game. Man when i heard this title was cancelled i was pissed as hell because when i say the first movie and heard about it after seeing screens i was hooked. If they can pull this off and still have it look up to date, then this will be a great game. The have to keep the atmosphere though. Screems coming down the hall and lights flickering. Not to mention that cold silence with only the beeping of 10-15 aliens coming from multiple directions on your scanner.:D I love all the aliens.

I hope thats not true. I mean a aliens RTS game has the potential to be great but they would have to add a serious level of indenuity to pull away from starcraft. I think its possible. Maybe not this time around.
