Post by: Mr. Kennedy on June 14, 2003, 07:34:32 AM
Yes yes, everytime I leave my computer and return there are endless popups on my desktop, pure madness.  Ok, let me tell you what I have done.  I have already spoken to members, and disabled the messenger service thing already.  Then I deleted all the spyware on my computer using ad-aware, but the DAMN POPUPS STILL LIVE!!! WHY?????

If popups appear when you aren\'t doing anything (not opening progs; going to sites) then you did not get all the spyware.

Check Add/Remove for suspicious stuff and get rid of it.

I love popup stopper.

Set it to aggressive mode, and nothing, and I mean nothing gets by it.  The only thing that can is those annoying floating scrips that some pages have started using.....  right on the page.
