Title: Best Soccer game?

Hi there.  I\'ve been trying to find a soccer(football for the rest of the world) with a real good franchise mode.  The type where you can develop players and your team.  Having the power of a manager, while still having control of the games.  I\'ve heard that "Winning 11" or something like that is pretty good but I haven\'t seen it anywhere.  Do any of you know of any games like that?  FIFA 2004 maybe?

"winning 11" is the best football game out there but unfortunately it has not been released in the states. check if u can get "Pro evolution soccer 2" its the english version of "winning 11".
btw fifa is and has always been crap.

FIFA series are always pretty good. Pro Evo 2 is also very good, if ur into playing fantasy sport.

Oh please, don\'t give me that FIFA crap, if  anything is fantasy football, it\'s FIFA,


If you want realism go for Pro Evolution Soccer 2,
although if you want a manager game, you should get something else (not sure what you should get in that case)

The only other one that does the management stuff as far a I know is LMA manager. Never played it though so don\'t know if it is any good.

I\'m with politiepet, but I should also say that Fifa 2003 has been really improved with respect \'02 version.

go for pro evoulution soccer 2 ( winning eleven six. or something like that in jap)


fifa sucks ass, is good in multi-player, but not as good as pro evo 2........ fifa is very arcadey, and once you learnt the few sweet spots, its jst to easy

 if you want a management game, id get one of pc, championship manager 2002-2003 is the newest i think, and really is one of the best games ever

kopking, all games are easy when you play enough. I, in PES2, with 5 stars, and playing against Brazil, France, Manchester... any good team, I can win easily for 11-0, 10-1, 15-2 etc... in 20 mins matches...

yes, but i mean in fifa there are certain things you can do which will score almost every time, maybe against the com u can win 11-0, but against human who are good its different, u know what i mean??

FIFA is an improvement, and its the only option really stateside. Pro Evo is by far the better game, Championship Manager 4 is the latest for the PC, its brilliant

not 100% sure about this but i thought konami released winning eleven international in the us earlier this year, i think it was supposed to exactly the same as pes2
