Title: should i Buy a playstation2

Im thinking about spending some of my $590 Graduation money on a playstation2.  Since ive heard that ps2 has tons of sports Games out for it!  which is way kool...

so what are some reasons i should buy a playstation2?   also i already have an xbox as well

if you like sports games then I would think it\'s a must unless you don\'t care for online.

EA is planning on doing most all of their titles online this year.

And if you do get a PS2, I would wait a month untill the new models are released. Graphicly there identical, but the drivers and little adjustments are worth it.

Man where the hell have you been? Get a f*ing ps2. I mean all systems have good sports titles since many arent exclusive but ps2 will be getting the butt load and online play from ea so stick with the ps2.

Man some people must live in like grass huts or sumthing these days, krazy:D

some reasons why you should get a PS2?

-summers near your going to have more time than you normally do
-its way cheaper than before
-it looks cool
-old games for PS2 are still good, they are cheaper now too
-its a PS2 man! you can\'t go without one.

Not for sports.  GC sux for sports games.  X-Box is pretty hot, especially with Live support, if you dig the Sega sports titles, but PS-2 (as someone else noticed) is getting exclusive Online play with the EA line.

If you are going to own a console then the PS2 is the best bang for the buck

The only reason you will ever need to get a PS2.

The PSX2Central (VGJ) Madden League, and the possible NCAA League, and the other leagues that may be coming this season, will more than likely center around the PS2 and it will all be affiliated with this site, so you know you are in good company.
