Post by: ooseven on June 23, 2003, 07:36:08 AM

i have heard that wireless applications are planned for UK regions without ADSL or Cable but can\'t rememberthe details.

Also how good is BB online gaming ....?

I have cable and online gaming has been so sweet since my upgrade from dial-up.

As for an alternative...there is satellite internet, but for gaming it\'s worse than even dial-up do to the incredably long ping times.

They have wire-less internet available in my town, you have to buy an antenna and put it up in your house..but there are distance restrictions on how far you can be from the place where the signal is originating.

Sattelite is broadband restrictive in one sense. You have a limited amount of bandwidth and when all users are on or more people subscribe and use the service, than the bandwidth is divided down until it\'s so low its not worth it.
I\'ve had sattlite.
