i watched nightmare on elm street 3 the other day, and laurence fishborne was in it, but his name was larry fishborne...... anyone elsed seen someone change there name a they get more famous???

One of Larry Fishburne\'s first big films was "Apocalypse Now" from 1979. He was 18 years old, and he looks like a child compared to how he looks now. Very weird to see him so young.

Was he one of the dudes in the boat that went up the river? I need to check that out. That would be funny to see. Never realized.

I remember Fishborne from "Band of the Hand". Great 80\'s flick from the director of "Miami Vice".

Larry is just a nick name of people named laurence. So really it\'s not a name change. My uncle\'s name is laurence but everybody calls him Larry....

Arnold Schwartzenegger was billed as "Arnold Strong" in the 1969 movie "Hercules in New York". His voice was also dubbed over with an american accent.
