Anyway, I noticed that Wal-Mart has the new PS2 with built in DVD remote and network adapter for $200. Anyone know for sure when the PS-X will be out?

(I meant to ask that in the first post but I had to leave right away)

no the PS-X is yet another iteration of the ps2 that is coming out, but it\'s probalby gonna cost $500+

Why would anyone need a PS-X if they already have a decent home entertainment setup? Sure, it looks cool, but its alittle pricey.

I would love one of the limited edition coloured PS2\'s. In Australia there were like 50 of each colour made (red, blue, yellow, pink, silver, white, clear). All the people on Big Brother #2 got one...

Ghey. Gman, that is incredible. Mine died so i took it apart :). But now i cant reconnect the cd cables to the cd drive cause they dont reach far out of the slot they come from under :(

Is it true that the PS-X can play pirated PS2 DVD games out of the box?

The PS-X isn\'t an iteration of the PS2, it just plays PS2 games.

Ooooooh Treated! j/k Racer im sure thats not why they dont want you to open it up. I mean thats not the sole purpose. Plus they wouldnt give a shit. If you take the sticker off then it voids all chances of direct repair etc. etc. from sony right?

In the GameInformer magazine it said its going to be at around 1000 bucks.........
