If this has all the elements that made the previous incarnations so addictive it will be a great game.

i was going to say the same thing. I have world blast i think it is for Dreamcast. Great game. And i love the animations and the ambience set in a lot of the leves like the night type levels. Anyway, this game doesnt look that good at all and pulling this one off in 3d will be wierd. Are they going to do like and over head view to see were your targets are or something? Meh. I probably wont pick this one up sadly.

I\'m gonna get this as long they don\'t take out the fun and gameplay...I\'ve owned all the others including the pretty decent but not yet brilliant Bust A Move clone World Party.

I only had normal Worms on my Saturn years ago and loved it,I hired Worms Blast and did not like it.So my advice to you would be to wait until this new one is released and give it a rent.

Does anyone know a rough release date?

Who knows, maybe Worms works well in 3D. In any case only time will tell.

Uhm, no. When will you learn? If you are old enough or appreciate good 2D games then you will know that its just a fad now to take classics and ruin them in some crappy 3D games.
