Anyone else psyched for this game on XBox.
Finally a game I have been really looking forward to on that machine.
My reason for buying an Xbox was to play some of the RPG\'s that were hyped like this one and Fable.
Can\'t wait. Saw the E3 info and the game loks to be damn cool
already pre-orderd
-
Blah, if it ever sees a release in European territories.
Every time I\'ve asked EB for a release date, it seems to go back another month. :(
-
Well hopefully its out here on July 16 as advetised.
Then I would have to say it should be out your way before Xmas.
-
actually, I already reserved this game...
/me runs from mm
-
I reserved my copy yesterday.
I\'m stoked !
My step son is in town and were going to play it together.
-
It was either KOTOR(July 16) or NCAA Football 2004(July 15).
I am a football FIEND.
Decision made.
Maybe I can get into KOTOR in February after football season and when my Madden habit dies down a bit. :p

Anybody have any info on the games deeper features
I\'ve done some research, but fellow gamers have a way of bringing things to a point alot quicker then long winded gaming journalist
-
It got a perfect score in the new GMR supposedly.
Not bad for a game I previously cared very little about, now I am anticipating it alot after reading just about the story aspects and the dark side/light side of the force aspect of it.

Fable not only exites me , it makes me wet myself like if i was a school girl going to a Justin Timberlake concert.
-
is it online?
-
no
-
Once again, I thought this game was due out today, the 14th according to EB. Now its the 16th, probably avoiding NCAA football.
-
Naw it was too ship on the 15, and be available on the 16
tommorow it begins
-
Anyone playing this one.
So far so good, there is still along way to go I\'m sure
My step-son is playing evil
I\'m playin good. We\'ll see how the stories unfold

Hey come on anyone playing this kick ass game.
I having a blast with this one. My step son and I are playing to seperate games. I play in te morning early and he plays during the afternoon while I\'m at school etc. We trade off night times.
By the way this is his real 1st RPG and I think he\'s hooked now.
He\'s going all evil and I\'m the boyscout.
***** SPOILER *****
When you get to the 2nd planet Datoonie you will come across a jedi who has succumbed to the dark side. You can kill her and complete your mission succesfully but gain a dark point and a light sabre, or convince her to see the light and gain her as a playable character shorly after.
******* END SPOILER ******
This is the best thing Star Wars to come out in over 10 years. The last 2 movies have a crap plot so far compared to the game. (not including Galaxies cause my PC could never handle it, and I\'m sure thats mega cool too)
and I must admit I really enjoy the non typical fantasy japanese styled RPG that KOTOR is.
Definitely worth the price of an Xbox IMO
of course let me play for a few more days and see if its still holding up !!!!

I\'m thuroughly addicted to this one, IMO it\'s the best next generation game I have played....basically the most adicting game I\'ve ever played. The plot is engrossing, the character development is unrivaled, it basically covers all the bases. To me the best part are the side missions. I\'ve tried to complete every single one so far, and they are all exceptionally fun. Everything from killing off the Madalorians on Datoonie, to helping a woman find (spoiler) her sex droid....sick, sick woman.
OOOoooh, I forgot another fun little thing is the jedi mind trick! If you choose affect mind as a force power you get to use the Jedi Mind trick., The conversations using that are terrific;
Store Owner: That\'ll be 2000 credits
Me: You want to give it to me for half price (waves hand)
Store Owner: I don\'t know why I\'m doing this, but I\'m gonna let you have this for half price
Damn that\'s fun.

Are you buying the HK-47 droid?
I\'m glad ddaryl is enjoying KOTOR too. :p
-
yeah, I got him down to below half of what he was asking. I\'ve also used it numerous times on different people, so that I could get info.
-
So far the game has been very kind, its nice playing 2 games parallel to see some of the differences that can occur 1st hand
slowdown is present but in this type of game, turn based with a twist, it really isn\'t much of a factor.
I could very well see people holding out for the PC version, but for guys like me who won\'t be upgrading his PIII 450 anytime in the near future, the Xbox version will provide a very nice gaming experience
-
The game rocks for all the reasons that everybody listed. Not the best game I\'ve played in this GCN/Xbox/PS2 generation (that honor still belongs to Metroid Prime) but KOTOR is probably the best Xbox game I\'ve played.
It started a little slow, but I just got the Swoop Accelerator and it feels great to play.

Ok, my light saber now officially roxorz! A double bladed saber with two crystals boosting my damage up to 6-29. My character just tears it up with this saber, I can take out 3 sand people with by myself without taking one hit. I\'m almost done with tatoonie, except I have to win that damn swoop rade, anyone know if I can modify my swoop racer on this planet?
*update
I beat the damned swoop race, and completed all the missions on Tatoonie. I\'m now on Manaan (maybe spoilers here on) and I\'ve undertook the infiltration of the Sith base, and got the code from the Sith prisoner.
(no mo spoilers)
One thing about Manaan is that the scenery is beautiful, I could honestly just sit and watch the tv and enjoy myself. Great artistry.
