Yay! After 3 whole months of waiting, we have yet another kewl war to watch on TV. :D It\'ll start with a bigass naval and areal blockade, but that\'s all the producers are willing to reveal at this time. Stay tuned!!!!
NK just did some tests on high explosives that could split atoms.
-
Kewl!! The holidays began to be boring...
Come on... don\'t tell me that USA is bombing two countries in the same year... :thumbd:
-
We should wait on NK. We don\'t have the resources to occupy two nations at once. This is a big mistake.
-
I think NK are more dangerous than Iraq ever was. These people definitely have weapons and are not afraid to use them.

It\'s about time they stop pointing them at us... :str8pimp:

N Korean warns Australia could face nuclear strike
"Australian could face a nuclear attack from North Korea if it got involved in an international force to stop ships carrying weapons of mass destruction, an unofficial spokesman for the North Korean government has warned.
Australia has agreed to take part in maritime exercises which may lead to the establishment of an international operation to stop the weapons trade by counties such as North Korea.
Kim Myong-Chol from the Centre for Korean-American Peace last night said if North Korean ships were stopped at sea, North Korea could turn its nuclear arsenal on Australia.
Mr Myong-Chol said North Korea had reprocessed 8000 nuclear fuel rods at the Yongbyon nuclear facility, and had nuclear missiles pointed at the United States...................................."

I can\'t believe people don\'t talk about this more. Instead they seem to focus on Bush and Iraq. Anyway, NK is a serious problem, now they are threatening a nuclear strike if Australia participates in a naval blockade to stop their weapons trade. People need to stop rehashing Iraq and start worrying about the fruitcakes in NK.
Is there an easy solution to this crisis? I don\'t think there is since they seem to threaten everyone with a nuclear war who disagrees with them. Does anyone here have a legitimate idea on how to pursue an end to this situation? I know NK has always loved to beat war drums, but this article about Australia is the equivalent of pointing a loaded gun at someone and saying if you agree with my enemies I will shoot you.

Or..we should have just focused on them sooner.....

Yes, we should have. Right about when Billy boy was in office and Carter found himself in NK brokering useless deals.

What the hell are you talking about that we need to focus on NK instead of Bush?
To what I remember, some of you back when the war in Iraq was going to begin or had already begun, alot of people argued that NK was the bigger threat.
What did you all say to that? That North Korea was just bluffing, that they\'re just trying to start something, that they\'re lying and shit like that. NOW you want to focus on NK. After all this time you defended Bush\'s actions towards that country? Now, there can be yet another war. But this time, the threat of nuclear weapons is much dangerous and probably true. Unlike Iraq. While Bush was over here worrying about Iraq and spewing lies about that war, NK had all the time in the world to prepare itself. The difference? NK was all out with publicity of it\'s power.
I say Bush b/c he is ruling this country. I don\'t give a damn if he doesn\'t control everything that goes on in the government. He is the president and it\'s his duty to face issues in time. If he really wanted to keep the US safe. The NK problem should of not have gone this far.
-
Speak to me nicely and maybe, just maybe I will answer you.
-
Bomb Iraq for having WMD which they don\'t have.
Pander and Fund North Korea who have WMD and will use them.
Only in a world where he president of the “fee” world has the brain the size of a pee.

Read Ace\'s first post in this thread. Read it slowly. Hmmm maybe I should translate for you.
Bill Clinton should have dealt with NK instead of making deals the NK\'s wouldn\'t keep. Carter made a fool of himself by visiting NK during Clinton\'s administration as a peace envoy who actually made the deals with NK so they wouldn\'t pursue their nuclear program. Basically Clinton and pals were being blackmailed by the NK\'s.
Get the f*** off of the Bush rant, most of the US foreign policy problems in the world today are a result of the limp wristed foreign policy of the Clinton Adminstration.
-
No no no, you say blackmailed. To me that sounds like if Clinton was trying to actually get NK to do what they had to do peacefully. It isn\'t Clinton\'s fault they didn\'t keep the deal.
Isn\'t the Bush and his Powernuke girls getting black mailed now?
Ok, so let\'s just say I agree that all the problems now are b/c of Clinton. It is GWB problem now, isn\'t it? If there is something really wrong with what Clinton did, it\'s his job to get it to work right or make changes. I mean that is why there is a president elected every few years. To get the one that made all the mistakes out the office, and to put one in that could fix those mistakes. Till now, Bush has been adding more mistakes than fixing them. I was watching the news, they interviewed some soldiers and they said they were losing faith in their Army. But I know how that can be fixed!!! Just have Bush fly there in a F-16 and tell them he is proud they\'re still risking their necks. That should set them straight.
-
So nothing is ever Bill Clintons fault??? Hmmm I don\'t believe that, alot of the 8 years he was in office could have ridded us of the problems we\'ve sustained in the Bush administration, 9-11 could have been prevented or stopped, Iraq should have been settled back when Clinton came into power, and NK has always been a thorn in our ass, and unless there Dictator dies we don\'t have much hope to do anything except fight or try and talk.
-
uhm..try again..if Saddam was to be dealt with, it should have happened with Reagan..and at the very least, the first BUsh.
-
As I recall the first Bush was dealing with him and Mr. Clinton didn\'t follow up very well when he broke the agreements he had signed. Put it this way he is dealt with now or so it seems, North Korea has been going on for some 50+ years, now how many presidents have sat around and done shit about it???? I think that no one touched it because they didn\'t want another Vietnam.
-
So why didnt the first Bush finish? Thats just as bad as Clinton not following through with him or Bin Laden. And no, Saddam has not really been deallt with. They don\'t even know where he is, or if he even IS
I konda dont mind the fact that they didnt do anything for so long. Its not like we havent had our missles aimed at countries for the last few decades.

And thank your lucky stars that we have been.
