Title: I have a question about the PS2 Hard Drive

Does anybody know if they are making a seperate Hard Drive to connect to existing PS2s or will it only come with the new PSX console?

I\'m not getting the Network Adapter,well not yet (my cousin has one and I play it there) but I really want a HD for the PS2 and I heard last year about it but haven\'t heard about it since.

It will be available seperately, rest assured.

With the MILLIONS of existing PS2 owners, there\'s no way it won\'t be available seperately.

i dont see what would be so good about it anyway, save games and store music? not that great

Play MMORPGs that require large amounts of space for updates (most MMORPGs), download extra levels for games, download demos, download videos of games....

Seeing as Sony will prolly NEVER release a (internet) browser, like they did in Japan.....

If you have a modded PS2 however, the hdd will be sweet:)

I thought they have released a browser of some kind for browsing in the internet in US.Or am I wrong?

Nope.  But if you redirect the connection gateway to the IP address for http://brookfresh.co.uk you get a nice home page that\'ll emulate a browser experience for ya (Single window only, though)

My Dreamcast has a nice browser. And the games are still fun to play.

The Dreamcast can direct-dial to your ISP.  No negotiating through a 3rd parties servers to get online (Live!), just dial ISP, browse.

MMORPGs are lame. Extra levels are usually trash thrown together by devs in the last second. And I can download demos and videos from the net.

I can\'t wait to own a Sega VR headset...err..I mean 3DO "M2"....Doshin the Giant is great on my 64 Disk Drive...hmm..oh..this about Sony\'s HD?..Yeah, that\'d be nice to!
