I feel bad for the family, but the dude has been sued 8 times for malpractice?

You\'d let a guy with that type of record touch your back?

Are you freaking nuts?

Back surgery is brutal.  I\'ve been in the OR for one and it is amazing what these guys do.  One little slip and you could cut a main nerve off and never feel your toes again.

I would never let any doctor touch me without checking him out first.

They should force him to have a big notice in his office saying

"Warning i have been sued 8 times for malpractice"

There are lot\'s of horror stories like this. I remember seeing a guy on tv who had a metal instrument left in his abdomen after surgery. The item had bacteria on it and he ended up with a flesh eating bug and nearly died. He sued the ass off the doctor obviously.

This might be the same guy your talking about, but I seen on Ripleys Believe It Or Not accouple of weeks ago this guy went into surgery for something in his stomach. Anyways, the surgery went fine, and about a week later the Doctor rang him up and said that they had accidently left an instrument in his body. So the guy went and had an Xray to see what it was, and it was this 30cm+ long stick thing thats used to separate organs. It was lodged from his heart all the way down to his bladder, one foul move and it could have pieced important viens.

Anyways, here is the scary bit. The Dr, before removing it, got him to have another Xray just to see if it had moved, but he was almost going to use a CT scan instead of a normal xray machine. If they had of done that, the metal object would have exploded in his body, similar to when you put a metal fork in a microwave.

Creepy.

I wonder why the guy is still trying to practice medicine... he\'s obviously no good at it, and most doctors want to help people (and make lots of money)
