What a great review.  Really captures the essence of film making.

critics always hate movies like this, it\'s not Ali, and people don\'t go into the theatre thinking, wow what incredible scripting, or acting. They just want to laugh and see shit blow-up, so I say F*CK you critics. ok I\'m off my soap box.

The reviewers who go in expecting what is advertised are the ones who will enjoy this film and that\'s a fact.  The fact that this guy even MENTIONED the script in his review or the fact that he mentioned that there\'s no story just shows that he was unprepared.  It\'s nothing more than a movie where stuff gets blown up and people get whiped out for 2+ hours and the reasons are hardly the point.  It promotes action, humor, and explosions and for this guy to go in and complain that the acting is bad is just silly.

**EDIT -- isn\'t it amazing the reviewer was offended by certain racial stereotypes but didn\'t mention or at least mind the gratuitous panty and breast shots that layer the film throughout?  I suppose that\'s pretty tough to miss though, right?  ;)

i just went out and saw it today. some things were corney but there were a lot of funny parts in the movie and a lot of explosion/action. dont expect a huge story-line in it since they are directed at comedy/explosion during the film. not sure if my words make sense since i usually dont when i post but i thought it was a good movie and the reviewer has his head up his ass.

Don\'t have the time to read the review, but I hear that this movie goes 2 hours and 30 minutes. Damn, that\'s pretty long for an action movie.

I just don\'t see what these critics hate.  It\'s an action movie through and through with plenty of violence, explosions, blood, gore, and sweet stunt scenes that we have all come to expect from these types of movies and it does all of that surprisingly well.  I laughed at plenty of scenes and agree with Harry over at AICN that there\'s TONS of scenes where the audience just exclaims "OH SH-T!" as something else explodes or someone else dies.  It\'s just over the top plain and simple and if you go in anticipating just that, you\'ll have fun.  I just don\'t get the hate.

I heard from some people that it was pretty great actually. I loved the first one and im not going to go in thinking its gold, so ill probably enjoy it much more.

I liked it, a bit long IMO no action movie should be longer than 2 hours max, but other than that great action movie

Hah ha it\'s funny that some of you actually saw this movie.  I\'d rather have my eyeballs polished with 30 grit sandpaper than watch this POS.

I watched it tonight.  Got exactly what I was expecting, and liked it.  I love the scene where they scare the shit outta his daughter\'s date.. that\'s awesome.

You want  a movie with loads of action and some pretty hilarious comedy? go watch bad boys II .

If you want a movie with something else ...then go watch something else.

Personally I think bad boys II has everything a movie needs to have. Violence and gore...and lots of it. :)

Definately.

If you liked the original Bod Boys then you will like the sequel. I enjoyed myself. It was a bit long but I never got bored.

Nice. I will definately be seeing this one soon. Probably this weeked or sooner. Gotta love martin and will smith together. Great team. If only Tei Leoni(s/p) was back :D
