I know this is not the right forum, but I need urgent help.. ,move this thread after gettting a solution mods, please.
Well, i\'ve installed the new mobo, the new processor, and the ram, also new electricity supply.
I have only a problem: my screen doesn\'t work well. I have a 15" screen with a GForce 2 Mx400 and I can\'t change the resolution, It\'s at 720x480. I can\'t move the bar to select 800x600 or whatever. I\'ve update the drivers and nothing fixes.
So i can\'t see my screen properly... i have bad resolution, bad HZ frequency and a ghost residual image on the right that avoids me to see the bar of the browser and so...
What\'s the problem? Please, help! I dunno what to do.

This is what I have, look at that resolution and ghost in the right... !!!!! Help!
EDIT: grrr it works right capturing the screen!

Try downloading Powerstrip?

The new mobo doesn\'t have on board video card does it?
If it does it will need switching of in the bios to avoid conflicting with the Geforce.
-
No it hasn\'t video card on board... only my Gforce...
I\'ll try with that program.. Thanx guys.. let me check it.
-
Also, beyond vid card drivers, do your monitor drivers... don\'t use the default drivers for that.
If that doesn\'t work, see if the Gforce came with any additional software for controlling resolutions. Some of them have software control panels and such (depending on the company).

With any new hardware installation. Besides soundcards, gfx cards etc just mainly motherboards.. Format and reinstall everything. That\'s the sure way to clean out any bugs from changing hardware.

Thanx Samwise your program worked perfectly. Thanx a lot. Yes I formated everything.
