Basically, it\'s a CD writer for compact flash and smart media cards.
Two hours of battery supply is plently since you turn it on only to write to a CD which takes only a few minutes. My 256mb compact flash was filled up several times during my recent vacation in the Pacific and the CP100 worked great. No errors on the photos when I finally loaded them to my computer.
That is all. :)
BTW....my digital camera is the Olympus C5050 Zoom. I needed a camera that could take great shots in low light without using a flash.

That\'s kewl Gman. And the camera you own, too. I wanted to buy that one but I spent my saved money in the PC update. Anyway it seems this camera is already discontinued. I hope to get one as soon as possible, with 4th gen ccd and good resolution.

oh, I always thought the best companion for a digital camera was a dead hooker. Looks like I\'m stuck with \'em though....

I\'ll be sticking to my Cannon 300 SLR.

You mean the EOS-1Ds? ;)
11 million effective pixels.
$8,000 without the lens.

Cannon are the best, my EOS 300 takes brilliant pics.
EOS 1Ds takes amazing photos, but file size is a bitch.
-
You can use your lens on those Canon digital SLRs. But you knew that already. :)

i\'ll never get rid of my old school classic, a Canon A-1 SLR, for lenses i\'ve got a 50mm, 200mm and 35mm and a few filter effects. It was the first camera to come with a digital light meter and fully runs off of batteries (it came out in 1978).
I love how the photos look that I take with this camera, and the flexiblity to be a little artistic in my phototaking. I take it that you can adjust setting on a digital SLR like you can on a film SLR??

JBean, what kinda filters do you have? I only have 6 point star filter and Polariser, which is pretty neat.
I love those gradient filters, but with Photoshop you don\'t really need them these days.

Hands down get a cosmetic filter and a soft filter. Does wonders.
They are called pro mist.
You can get them in black and warm and it\'s in different levels. It takes all of the harsh edges off of the photo.

Yep I misspelt the model. Whats about the file size racer?

I have a star filter, and the other one has a red tint to it and i\'m not sure what it does. I don\'t mess around with them too much, but i\'ve been thinking about picking up some more to play around with. I used to like taking pictures at night of city scenes, with cars driving by and neon lights and such. I\'d hold the shutter open anywhere from 5-60 seconds depending on the scene and the effect I was going for and i\'d use my star filter sometimes...i\'ve got a pretty cool little collection of pics I used to take in my spare time.
