Not me. I will remove a few songs just in case. :)
I\'ll leave the porn in the shared folder for all the world to see. :D

Damn! I\'m ghettobootybabe@kazaa!
;)
-
why dont they get a fuking clue, instead of putting out crappy ass albums every month, they should try finding some good talent to replace all those justin and kelly\'s out there.
-
Stupid people. You may have problems if this shit goes on growing, but don\'t think so. Thanx i\'m in Europe :D
-
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! :(
They got me.

Fast, they can still track you. :)
As for gnutella....and WinMX, I\'m not sure.
-
Fast - are you serious or not? I can\'t even tell. If you are , legal course is highly doutful as you are in another country.
And finally - why even share a folder? I wouldn\'t. Just make an empty folder - call it your shared folder and wa-la. You still get to steal your mp3s and not worry about someone finding your 4 gigs of MP3 bein\' shared
-
as long as yer not in the states they cant do shit. btw i\'ve seen a million guys with a nick like that.
-
That k_lite address that fastson posted is the one that appears for EVERY K-lite user. There\'s gotta be a million people with that nick and it\'s hilarious they pegged it. They may still be able to track you, but putting up that username is incredibly pointless.
-
Holy Shit!
O_O
PDJ1846@Kazaa
I think that is my friends name...

This will be interesting once ISP\'s start fighting back. There is a lot of talk and concern on how much this actually invades someone\'s privacy and how much the ISP should be or want to give to the RIAA.
I still don\'t understand why you just don\'t keep the MP3\'s you have in a non-shared folder. Download and don\'t share. Leeching, it\'s the American way!
:D
-
Wow, I\'m a little scared!
-
phew, they didn\'t have my nick, the single coolest nick in the history of nicknames
cyberkiller666@kazaa
:p

So where are we supposed to get our MP3s if nobody shares theirs? ;)
-
Ryu was the only one who got it :p
-
I\'m a little scared now too

Actually, I\'ve read in another (Danish) forum about a guy who got a mail from his ISP. They\'d been contacted by Universal and passed the info on (it was just that they asked him to stop doing illegal activities and such, but still... kinda scary).
I must admit that I\'ve stopped using Kazaa now. Every anti piracy organisation is going nuts these days and I don\'t intend getting caught... Not that I shared anything before, but I won\'t risk downloading either.
Someone should make a 100% anonymous encrypted P2P network. :)

I read somewhere that there had actually been a 20% drop in March (not sure about the month, think it was March).

They cant sue 3 million people. Even if they contact you, dont respond to them and they\'ll just move on. What will they do, call the cops on you?
-
is it legal for the riaa to obtain info on the users from the isp\'s, they probably had a warrant for the ones who got called to court but what about the others they cant possibly have warrants for all the other thousands which they are allegedly monitoring.
either way this will probably bring up many privacy issues related to what isp\'s should and should\'nt give out.
-
Doesn\'t the new ver of kazaa lite incorpores an anti-spy of riaa and such companies?

I beg to differ with you on this point. They can put 50 people in one single court filing. Say 30% of those people do not respond. Then they receive a default judgement for the entire amount they sued for.
For those that do respond. They will either have to pay a lawyer 10,000 Dollars to a lawyer or maybe half of that to settle. Or atleast that is what other organizations do right now.
So far as those that think it is safe to download the songs without anything bad happening to them. I would say wait. I have not a doubt they will start going after you individually for downloads.
Sueing has become a way for companies to turn a profit in a tough U.S. economy.
I myself speak back to recording industry the only way I can. I stopped purcashing their cd\'s.
