Well it looks like Bob Hope made his final farewell today.
It\'s so weird to think that my entire life that guy has been really old.
You remember when he use to have that cornball college football show every year? It was college right? yeah.
Man, it\'s sad to see such an old timer go.
BTW, has anyone ever laughed at a Bob Hope joke? I don\'t think I have. Hmmmmm....

Could be because most of his jokes where about GOLF.
Ah ....he will be mised anyhoo.
but i know what you mean, he was that type of guy that was for ever old.

He was never really an actor, just a "comedian," then merely a "personality." I can\'t think of a single serious dramatic role he ever performed, and his comedic roles were all pretty much the same character... him.
But then he was from a different generation, when such things weren\'t expected of a performer.
I can remember laughing at his routine when I was a child and saw him on television specials or reruns of his crappy old movies. He always had pretty clean material, not at all risque like Don Rickles or Rodney Dangerfield, so it was permitted for kids to watch it.
Hopefully now he will be remembered in his younger appearance, not his corpselike state of inactivity over the last 20 years.

his "Road to" movies were great IMO, a helluva lot better than any comedies coming out now.

Never really saw much of Bob Hope. Sad. And Vid, I don\'t want to die that old either. I want to leave a beautiful corpse :) It is sad that Bob Hope died though. I didn\'t even realize he was that old.

Also, his USO tours were pretty funny, and just damn nice of the guy. I have alot of respect for him.

It\'s just that his death has been announced before only for him to make a statement to deny it.

No. He was about almost nearly half as funny as a kick in the knackers.
