Anyone seen this yet?

Great movie,  *** stars I give it

Only bad thing I found about it was that the plot was simple and straightforward,  either then that alot of fun!

Yup, I saw it on opening night.

It was a good movie, Johnny Depp played his character very well. Like I mentioned on another thread, the only part I didn\'t really like was the whole "ghost" thing. But then again, without that, there wouldn\'t be a point to the movie.

Needed to be more "piratey" scenes of mass booozing and lady-chasing.  For a movie called Pirates of the Carribean I was hoping for lotsa sea-doggin scurvy YARRRRRR action.  And too long.

Still worth a viewing or two.  Depp carries this film with his character.

Johnny Depp was amazing. He carried the otherwise flawed movie on his shoulders. Orlando Bloom wasn\'t bad either; yet I still think his performance was perhaps a bit too wooden. Too "elvish" ;) Kieran Knightley was one beautiful girl to watch, too...

pirates of the carribean is typical high budget hollywood trash.  the only reason to see it is cause Geoffrey Rush graces the film with his presence (of course noone mentions him :rolleyes: )

My friends thought it was amazing, but then again, my friends are very easily entertained :P
