Post by: Samwise on July 29, 2003, 11:31:53 PM
Any of you guys love epic movies? I do. :)

So right now I\'m looking forward to Troy and the two Alexander The Great movies. Any other epics I should be on the lookout for?

How tall is Brad Pitt? Coz he\'d be the last actor (along with Tom Cruise) I\'d cast as Achilles, the greatest and fiercest warrior of Greece. The way I imagined him from the Iliad was a tall and large warrior. You know....an extraordinary warrior and not some ordinary average height one.

Yeah, they should cast Arnuld instead. :p

Actually I think Mr. Pitt will do a fine job.

How can you have a Future EPIC ?

Isn\'t a Epic a film , book , game or concept that has time to mature and develop into a phenomena.

epic

The old one\'s are always the best, such as Ben Hur, The Ten Commandments.

Brad Pitt is good cause IMO he can actually act and looks decent on film.

I can\'t wait for the big budget adaption of C.S. Lewis\'s "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe". It starts filming in September for late Summer 2004 release. Apparently being filmed possibly in New Zealand and Swedan.

I am a big fan of the books, and hopefully if it gets good cinemaphotography, then it could turn out just as good as TLOTR.

They will apparently merge the books together, to create 3 epic sequels, and possibly a prequel.
