there saying that britney spears will be playing daisy duke come
on people britney spears is okay but she can\'t play daisy duke
for one thing she doesn\'t even look like daisy duke so who do
you want to play daisy duke

For that you would prob\' need to cast a unkown actress rather than pander to the MTV generation and get a listed singer to play the role.

She did better than any other actor I can think of in a long time as far as remembering her lines and not staring at the cue card rather than the opposing actor.

So on that note I say go for it Daisy.

BUT, the long legs issue does kind of blow. She has bulky stuby Soccer Betty legs. Oh well.

As long as she doesn\'t sing.

I thought i was the only one that loved sandra bullock. Shes F*ing HOT. Ive had a thing for her from back in her beggining years. Im not so sure she would work as Daisy Duke but shes still damn good looking.

They should at least use the old actors (even though they are like 60 and most dead but hey, they were good :) ). IMHO, they shouldn\'t make a movie. When it was put back on a few years ago (old episodes) I watched it and liked it. I can\'t imagine anyone else playing them.

I was just about to post something to this effect. For those who have never seen the show or live outside of the US - The Dukes of Hazzard was about "all american" southern boys outsmarting corrupt southern lawmen and politicians (hokey by todays TV standards) - Mariah isn\'t right for the part.
