If you didn\'t watch the show, then go away...
I finally got around to watching the last two episodes last night.
I found a number of things odd about the final episode.
A) Dat Phan won??? WTF? Dude is so not funny. Dave Mardell was by far the funniest and most creative followed by Rob ( I forget his last name )
B) Ralphy\'s face when they announced the winner. Dude, he was hocked.
C) Who produced that show? Damn. You announce the winner and bam, show\'s over. No reaction what so ever. That was a huge HUGE upset and they just went to credits.
D) If they ever do this show again (And I hope they do because it was pretty descent) do you think they will let the public vote again? I really think public voting is a crap shoot. Especially when you are only allowing the public to vote one time. Not like AMerican Idol where they vote over the course of 3 months.
ANyway, probably only theomen and I watched the show so I may as well just PM him...

I saw one earlier episode. The Asian guy was the funniest that night. Perhaps he was more consistent?

Dude, not funny... All he does is makes fun of his mom and talks with an asian accent. that my friend = not funny.
Rob and Dave both were very creative and very inventive with their material. But that is something you don\'t know since you only saw one. So back to you for a moment.
You really thought he was funny? The only thing I thought was funny was how much everyone ragged on him.

I said I saw one earlier episode. He was funny that one night. He got the most and loudest laughs. I think they get like 2 minutes to do their routine.
His routine was about how bad he was at math. And the fact that all his classmates thought "Asians = math guru". So they all copied his work and all the kids that sat around him ended up flunking math. :)
I got a chuckle.

That was probably the night he beat Dave Mardell. Dave\'s routine was far more creative and inventive. OK Gman, you don\'t think like I do. You are therefore not so smart. Oh, but I repect your opinion. :)

^^^Thats basically Dat\'s whole routine.
I won\'t say Dat was the least funny one there because IMO that was the chick with the spikes. Still I think Dave was the funniest comedian and Dat\'s original roommate(can\'t remember his name) was the funniest every day guy. Every day guy as in he would be the funniest to hang out with.
Rich Vos and Tess were the funniest people in the final 5. Ralphie was the funniest before they went in the house.
That Hide and seek game was a reality TV classic. Right up there with "Zaddam Dwee Dabble Dow" on RW:New Orleans.

BTW, Am I the only one who thought they were using a laugh track for some of Jay Mohr\'s bit at the beggining of the final episode?
The laughs were way to fake sounding.

He roomed with Rob, who I agree was one of the most creative. I shouldn\'t say Dat Phan was the least funny. The chick with spikes, the black guy, and sean the cancer dude were all highly unfunny.
BUT DAT FREAKING WON!!!!

The whole show sucked. I watched 5 minutes of it. I could do the asian guy\'s routine better than him. Dave was funny. Ralphie was not. Hope they don\'t make another one.

The standup shows were crap, but life in the house was pretty funny. The hide and seak with Dat had my rolling.

Dat sucked, I bitched and moaned about him after seeing his first stand up act where he beat Dave. Dave was hilarious "and I would have gotten away, but it was a really good song" hill-f*ck\'n-larious. This show reminds me that democracy doesn\'t work when the country is made up of morons!

That was the line where I said, you know what, this guy is a thinker. I hate blatent jokes that are so freaking obvious. That was a joke that stupid people would never have understood. I love that.
Here is how I figure it. All of the good comedians split the vote. Dat Phan was the freak who everyone probably felt sorry for. Also he had all of the asian vote.
Actually I say good comedians and I shouldn\'t have. Really the only two good ones were Dave and Rob and they both got the boot.

I think Dat won because the majority of the viewing audience doesn\'t like to think and voted for him and said "hey look at that funny chinaman, he\'s making funny voices" followed by whooping and hollering.

Dat has potential, but.. he shouldn\'t have won every time he went out.
Still young, too inconsistent he is. Training he needs.. Jedi someday he will be. *cough* Anywho, I\'m looking forward to his special on Comedy Central.. it\'ll show off how good or bad he really is. There is another.. [size=0]Margaret Cho[/size] *dies*
BTW, on the topic of Dat.. he was damned lucky to make it past Dave. I was actually rooting for Dat from the beginning.. but Dave slowly grew on me (as he started making more comments in the house and otherwise) ; my opinion of him peaked right before Dat beat him in a (likely) rigged contest. I don\'t see how Dave could\'ve lost when he was hilarious and Dat was.. well.. performing probably his worst act that we\'ve seen.

Yeah, I thought Dat Phan\'s routine was funny(or at least potentially funny) the first time I saw it. I just didn\'t understand why he did it everytime.
I\'d take a 24 Dat Phan channel before I watched another routine from that weird spikey haired chick.

Anyone watch tough Crowd last night? They had Rob, Dave, Rich and Cory on. Now those are funny people, not Dat. They also made several jokes at his expense which made me feel better.

I personally thought Ralphie was the funniest, despite being a lazy fat bastid. I felt sorry for Dat, but that in no way translates to Dat = funny. After a few episodes, I had to change the channel when he was doing his standup.

I too watched all the episodes and agree that Dave mordal was by far the funnier comic. I mean Dat was not funny at all and his comedy was all about his mom and being asian..... If he was just a white guy he would have nothing for material.
Secondly he has less than 15 minutes in material because he reuses the same material repeatidly. I mean I heard some of his bits 3 times and he only preformed like 5 times....
Anyways that show was really enjoyable but I just don\'t understand how the public picked Dat to beat anyone he is just not funny at all.

Well I set up TiVo to tape Colin Quin to hopefully catch the repeats. I think that is the first show where the TiVo actually laughed at me for wanting to tape. How can you watch Colin Quinn? He is the only "Comedian" that should never rag on Datt.
Oh and Dave Attell rocked last night. That dude is nasty...

Colin Quinn and funny don\'t belong in the same sentence, well.. he\'s not bad all the time.
I\'ve never seen him do stand-up so I don\'t know.
All I know is, Norm was better as anchor on Weekend Update.. and Colin can\'t read cue cards..

colin quinn is horid and I have no clue how he is even on tv. He should have been fired from Remote Control years ago and never have been let back on the air.

Funny show on comedy central is daily show, you learn something and get a few laughs.
I though Rich was the funniest. I dont know y but he made me laugh the most.

I\'m a big Rich Vos fan, but I thought he was using his B material in the final and didn\'t deserve to win. He\'s much funnier when he\'s on tough crowd as a regular.

Tough Crowd isn\'t exactly the most mainstream comedy show.

I wouldn\'t even call it a comedy show. Although I have only seen bits and pieces.

Tough Crowd is basically remnants of the comedians from Opie and Anthony.
