Yay I went today, at the randals Island show, it was a really fun day....
I got backstage passes because I helped make grilled cheeses lol, so that was really Awsome, I got to meet Fat Mike, I also met Avoid One Thing and Tsunami Bomb....
Thrice was the first band I saw, and they were really amazing, too bad they didn\'t play "Artist in The Ambulence" though, I love that song :).
Then I saw Tsunami Bomb, which I liked a lot, I love there style and the bassist had a lot of energy... but he was a bit scarrey :P
I then saw Rancid... they had a good set list, but, the band just gave me a really bad impression of being a bit "Stuck up".... oh well, they weren\'t bad.
Avoid One Thing played next on the Volcom stage, with only about 15 people watching, which is a real shame when Simple Plan gets a huge crowd.... But they were really amazing, and they really put lots of effort in considering they were playing to so few people, got to talk to the guy for a bit after his show which was cool. Probley my favorite performance of the day...
Saw a bit of DropKick Murphys, never really liked them... *Shrugs*
Taking Back Sunday played next, with new band members too, the crowd was moving WAY too much with way too many crowd surfers and i was getting squished and i kept lifting people up and i was insanley tired.... But the band played pretty good, not great, but pretty good.
The last band I saw was Me First And the Gimme Gimmes, which is basially a joke cover band... they were very funny on stage, and just fun to watch.
Yepppppp.

no thanks, i dun like giving money to corporate sponsers to see 1-2 good bands and 10 shitty ones

Word em up.
I spent an entire summer on warped tour, and I never wanna go again.
Unless The Bouncing Souls are there.
P.S. We made fun of the kids that made our lunches:)
-

-
And a big dork.
-
Thanks Luke!

Smooches buddy.
Also I would go to Warped Tour again to see Lagwagon.

The Bouncing Souls are kool and tsunami bomb isnt all that bad either. Rancid... mixed emotions. Both great and iffy. w/e :o

I just got back from seeing Taproot in concert. They rocked, hardcore. Definately know how to put on a show.
-
Meh i dont like their new stuff. Its just lame to me. Ive grown apart from them. I am not trying to dis your musical tastes but i think taproot is pussy metal wannabe rock.
didnt mean to offend you all.:p

Ah man, but a good show is a good show. There was a nice mosh pit going, and then the lead singer came off the stage, and stood in the middle of it. He told everyone to stop and back up. Then all of a sudden he throws the mic back on stage, and starts moshin with the crowd. It was awesome.
Taproot, rocks.

Well thats not nice lol, but yeah it\'s sorta mean, we did make everyones sandwhiches and some security guards wouldn\'t even let us back there, but, most of em did, so it was all good....
Im seeing the bouncing souls and Tsunami bomb twice at Irving Plaza in september, it\'ll be fun, I met Bryan in the city last week which was cool :)

Where are they from?
Taproot I mean.

Ann Arbor, Michigan

The reason I asked is cause I thought they WERE from Michigan actually.
But your kidding I take it.

I just went to Lalapallooza on friday, it was badass. Queens of the Stone Age barely got any attention and Incubus was a disappointment. But when Audioslave went on it was really cool. ;)
-
Thrice is the band on that list I\'d most like to see. They\'re amazing.

Nah... You can even double check me with a Google search.
I\'m positive they\'re from Ann Arbor. He said how much Vegas rocked and how we gave them better receptions than his hometown (Ann Arbor).

I asked cause I saw them on the cover of a local music mag here.
Hoo-ray for Ann Arbor.
