sure, you can say "it only takes a minute to delete any junk email and throw out any ads in my mailbox", but you want a company to collect money off you doing so?

Call me a fool - I don\'t care. I\'ll take the magazine. I already get around 300 e-mails every three days and guess what? I don\'t care. I just leave \'em there. Same with snail mail junk.

We are getting something for free.

Some other company is making money off the info.  Wow, big whoop.

Magazines are given away all the time.  It\'s part of increasing their subscription rate. They can in turn charge the advertisers more and essentially get the money they would have gotten from you for the subscription from the advertiser.

And yes, they sell the mailing list to boot.  Big whoop.

Just don\'t use your main email address and through the junk mail away.

Do I care some other company is getting rich? Nope. I\'m getting something free of charge , all I have to do is tolerate some more junk mail - which doesn\'t bother me.

I could care less if another company makes money, as long as I don\'t have to pay with money for the given magazine.

What\'s there to turn around? Companies make money, I get a magazine. Big whoop.

It\'s a win / win situation. I get junk mail and a magazine. A company gets my information, sells it and has a higher subscription base.

I still have a free subscription from Playboy being delivered each month. I wish Penthouse would have freebeez though.
