Think back....waaayyyy back....
I vividly remember drinking chocolate milk from a bottle that was shaped like a yellow & brown puppy dog. It was summer afternoon,
and I was in a navy blue room. My moms sez that she threw that bottle out when I turned 3, and they changed the paint in that room
in september of \'74. (I was born in march of \'73) so I was a little over 2.
To this day, I can still taste that chocolate milk and remember how yummy it was...

i remember my dad beating the shit outta me for knocking over a paint can in the basement. i still have a scar
i might have been 3

hmm.... your endless sarcasm and disdain for most other humans
makes a little more sense now...
*pulls out notepad and pulls up a chair...
"and how does this make you feel, mm?"

I was very young, probably a little over a year old. It was winter time. My parents and my grandparents were pulling me in a tabogin with a cardboard box on it (So I wouldn\'f fall off.)
My parents find it hard to believe I can remember that because of my age at the time.
-
Hmm, don\'t know the earliest memory for sure. The only thing I can date is looking at my big brother getting ready for his first schoolday. I must have been 3 or 4.
-
im quite comfortable with my relationship to my father
it\'s years of ignorant and stupid humans that have made me sarcastic and easily discouraged
-
I have trouble remembering what I did yesterday
-
I can remember back to about 1977/78 when I was 3 or 4 years old and I used to ride my bike around the kitchen table.
-
Dinosaurs roaming the swamps. ;)
Actually, my earliest memories were in an old wooden house. I remember the beaches and the palm trees and fisherman dragging nets of fish into the shore.
I always lived near an ocean.
-
Walking from my yard to a public pool near us with my parents. This was at my old house in Cincinnati. I was probably about 2 and a half.
-
Walking with my mom through a typical Spanish market in La Linea, Spain when I lived there for almost a year. I was maybe 2 years old, and I remember her buying an ice cream for me that was shaped like Mickey Mouse.

I have three memories that haunt me actually quite often.
1) I remember coming out of my room and my mom was on the floor crying. I think she had been in a fight with my dad. I remember this because I remember she was eating a cookie at the time. One of those wafer sandwhich types with the cream in between.
2) I remember going out in search of my dad with my mom several times. We\'d stop by all the bars and what not. I actually remember one time with my dad looking for my mom one time too I think.
3) I remember (and I give my mom shit all of the time about it) having to throw away a belt. It was well worn and probably didn\'t really fit any more, but she bought me a new belt. I remember throwing it away outside in the store\'s dumpster balling my eyes out. I ask her all the time, what would have been so bad to keep it?
I was born before my parents were married. They were very young. 19 and 21.. I am very proud of them to have made it as long as they have. They are still married. During my college years they came close to a divorce several times, but they have worked through it and are actually better now than ever.
I say that only because with my 3 memories it looks like they hated each other.
Best guess is I was around 3 at the time of those memories.
Now a lot of times you think you remember things, but mainly you remember them because your parents bring them up. You don\'t really remember, you just think you do.
I\'ve never spoken to my parents about this stuff (Other than the belt), so I know these memories are real.

Two memories come to mind. I think they were around the same time(as in 1984-ish when I was 4-ish).
1) I remember walking from a pre-school classroom to the nurse\'s office and being a little scared because the halls were SOOO big and so empty. I\'ve been back to the school a couple of times since then and I always wonder how small I had to be to remember the hallways so huge.
2) I also remember lying in the bed when I heard my mother crying and yelling at my dad. I think he came home drunk and was being a dick; but I don\'t know for sure. I\'ve never brought it up with either one of them. My parents were both pretty young at the time (about 25). In hindsight I think that may have been one of the last times my pops drank because I don\'t remember any drinking episodes other than that one.

With my memories I definitely make sure that Lona and I watch what Logan absorbs. Kids are EXTREMELY nosey. Lona and I will be talking in one room and I can hear Logan repeating words we\'ve said in the other.
I just thought of one more long time memory.
I think I was a bit older. Probably about 4 or so, but I had a bunk bed. My dad made the top bunk either too high or the ceiling was pretty low. Anyway, I could easily reach the ceiling on the top bunk. We had a popcorn ceiling where you have the little bumps in paint. Well in order to keep me from picking them off, they told me the roof would come down if I messed with them.
Evil...

yeah.. I just remembered a really bad one...
I was in 2nd grade. We were all given cubbies to put our luchboxes and hang our jackets. I opened up mine, and a hanger fell down and landed in my eye. Instead of pulling it out, I ran down the school hall screaming and ran into the main office. They pulled it out, and I was crying, while hugging my bus driver. I still have a weird little spot in my eye from that.

I remember something back when I lived in Mexico. It was either when the bees flew over my head or when I first "swam".
Well, I had this rich neighbor and he was building a huge pool. It wasn\'t finished and there was a big hole in the ground and it rained. So there was a big hole in the ground filled with muddy water. So being Mexico, all the kid\'s went in there to swim. Yup, that\'s right all the Mexican kids in the hood swam in muddy water. Anyways so I walk over there, and i was like 4 or 5, they convince me to go in, so I get on my undies and go in there. I almost drowned. My mom walks by, she got so mad, she made me walk home in my underwear. Yup. That\'s it.

I crapped my pants at school once, and another time I crapped the bed.

Here\'s one that tops that in evilness...
My parents had a recliner that was the "mind-reading chair"...
if I had been bad, they made me sit in the chair, and said that they
could read my mind when I sat in it....
Talk about a mindf*ck!

Once I climbed on top of my grandpa\'s garage when I was like 3, and he caught me, and he whooped me good with a belt. Wheeeeeee
-
I remember my older brother was in a moped/bicycle accident. I remember going back and forth between the kitchen and the living room where he was sitting and getting strawberries to cheer him up.
Another memory I have (not sure which is the oldest) was me and my mother walking to the bus stop in the winter, and there was a farm by the bus stop, I remember cats coming out for the farm.

While in Germany for the first two years of my life, I fell and hit my jaw on the edge of some stairs as I was walking. I have a slight scar on my chin from where I hit.

I think it might\'ve been th\' Xtreme Killers and SwK that made you th\' wreck that you are, Mike. It has to be!
Me, myself.. lemme think.. hmm..
I think I might remember falling out of a chair and breaking my collar-bone at the age of 3, but that\'s the only event I remember from that day. I think my 5-year-old cousin might\'ve made me rush; if I recall correctly, there was something at this family gathering that I really wanted to see and my cousin Alex was going "look at the something, look at the something!" (whatever it was) and in my haste I fell onto the floor the wrong way. I also recall being in a big backyard that I\'ve never returned to, this also being around the age of 3.
I have a few other, potentially earlier memories.. but I\'m not sure if they were dreams or perhaps it just seems that way because I can barely remember. I also recall riding around the cement-floor basement (now fully furnished) on my tricycle before my brother was born. He came 3 weeks before I turned 4, and I have very few memories from before he came. For some reason I remember a few things about his birth..
A. Running down the hall in my house, not "relishing" but pondering the time I\'d had as an only child. Weird moment, that might be two thoughts mixed together.
B. At 3 years old, I watched Tom and Jerry a lot.. among other things. When my parents were deciding on a name, I continuously suggested Jerry as a name for my brother over and over again. His name is David. :)
C. I remember my father calling my Nana while Mom was at the hospital, picking my mother up, and some early moments with the baby\'s cradle in my parents\' bedroom. Soon after, I leave the crib and get a real bed.
I also recall playing Ghostbusters (for the first several years of my life, far and away my favorite franchise) with my mother before Dave was born. Lots of fun I recall, but surprisingly, that\'s the last time she played with me like that with action figures and stuff. Looking back at pictures, I\'m surprised at exactly how much I forget about my early childhood. I did a lot of interesting things! :)

Well i remember quite a few.
1) I remember when my dad had an EXP and he let me press the horn which was only a cheap little button on the side of the steering wheel. I was about 2
2) I remember my mom walking up and down the halls from doing laundry while i was in my jonny jumper and she came up to me and said something. That i dont remember. I was about 1 and a half or something. Maybe 2
3) The last one ill say was when i was about 3, and i was taking a bath and it felt so good and i needed to go to the bathroom and i was like y not. So i took a crap in the tub and my mom was like "evan finish up" and so i got freaked out and while draining the tub i stuffed it down the hole and washed my hands by climbing on the sink etc.
and no i dont like playing with my shit thank you

Mine was when I was about 2 or 3. I just remember climbing up some stairs after a cat. The cat turned a corner and went into a dark room. I was afraid of the dark I think and slid down the stairs.

Cats are evil. :p

I pissed on the neighbor\'s garage and was seen doing it when I was 4. I only remember the color of the garage (barn red) and the
magnetic snoopy belt that I was wearing..
or when some of the "dirty" kids in the hood conviced me to put
pollywags in my next-door neighbor\'s inground pool. I was 4, and
I watched them swimming around in the deep end near the diving
board. Then the oldest kid pushed me in and ran away. I remember
trying to reach the edge, but I kept slipping down the side, cutting
the tips of my toes.
At that moment, the owners of the pool came home, saw the gate
open, and the 12 year-old-girl saw me drowning in the deep end
and saved me. I often think.. if the cashier at Kmart had taken
1 minute longer, I would not be here.

My earliest memory, is of me and my parents waiting for a coach (we must have been going on holiday or something like that). My mum and dad were all dressed up. and I had an orange zip up cardigan on, with blue shorts and a red cap. I remember running towards the corner of the street to see if the coach was coming yet.
I know it was definately before my sisters were born, so that would place me as at least 6, but I\'m also sure it was before I started school, knocking that down to 4.
Anyway, that\'s my earliest memory.
Ironic innit? I can remember crap like that from 25 years ago, but I can hardly remember what I was doing this lime last week.
