They are showing them on Challenge TV over here in the UK and its one of the funniest things I have ever seen.
If you don\'t know what its about well its a Japanese Extreme elimination TV game and features the eternal struggle between..
COUNT TAKESHI AND HIS HENCHMEN
and
GENERAL HAYATI TANI AND HIS VOLUNTARY ARMY
The series that they are showing is about 15 years old... wonder if its still going.
and the Prize if you mangaed to get through the carnage was 1 million yen.
-
I have seen it a few times, it just a Jap version of "It\'s a knockout".
-
yeah with an added dose of kamikaze thrown in for good measure, that game knock knock where they run at an series of fake and real doors is incredible.
Some of them go Full throttle and bounce of the boarded ones like a pin ball hitting a bumper in a pin ball machine.
-
I have only ever watched it once, its funny as hell. Its on the Comedy Channel down here.
Is it just me or do the Japanese have the sickest most twisted most bizarre sense of humour??? so of the stuff they do is just rank.
-
BTW, "Its a KNOCKOUT, thats the name of the game!"
Good times.
-
I saw it years ago when a national tv showed it.
-
Bridge-Ball = the best drunken viewing EVER.
I\'ve never seen anyone win though, the end challenge is stupidly impossible.
-
They just started showing it in the U.S. on SpikeTV. They call it Most Extreme Elimination Challenge and they dub all kinds of crazy and perverted voices over the people.
