That is one badass toy
-
Looks cool but speaking as a doll n00b ;) are you supposed to paint it or have it painted somwhere? Or will the final version be colored and this is just the prototype?
-
Cute little dolly. :ghey:
-
That\'s freaking awesome. The level of detail is astounding -- it even has that power amulet like thing in the center of his chest. Very cool.
-
OMG OMG OMG
I WANT ONE!!!
And Skyfire and Megatron

That\'s his \'matrix\' (I think that\'s what it was called). It was only talked about in the Transformers movie. Did you notice that there\'s a mini-megatron in gun form that comes with Optimus?
-
They\'re not cheap. Almost a $100!!!
-
Damn that is frickin sweet. I do want one.
-
A hundred bucks is cheap for the enjoyment I\'ll get of having that on my desk.
-
For a hundred bucks it will never leave a glass case.
-
I wish it was painted b/c I would screw it up if I tried. It doesn\'t really like the robot form of optimus is capable of transforming into the truck b/c of resemblance to animated version (diagonal ribcage).
-
It would be much better painted- then I would have the slightest inkling of buying it- but still I wouldnt :D
-
Are you kidding me? I\'d much rather paint it myself. That\'s half the fun right there.
-
Screw that. I can\'t paint worth shit and have no desire for a shoddy looking Optimus Prime.
I would imagine it comes painted - I am guessing this is a prototype.
-
Actually it wouldn\'t surprise me if some of them come not painted. My older brother used to buy the older models of the transformers and paint them himself. As I got older he got me into doing models and believe me painting is the most fun. Besides it\'ll be the only time that precious toy will ever be out of it\'s glass case, but to each their own.
-
Yeah thats sweet. I still have my Di-cast Optimus from back in the day when i was a little kid. Its somewhere. If i knew where it was id take pix of it and post them but i have no friggin clue as to where it is.
Most of my other transformer toys are gone. I had another dicast of one that was a black Countach (sweet). Then i had the really fast (orange one) and star screen (or scream, i forgot). Good times. :D

Excuse me, but what of special has this toy? Any old tv series or what?
-
Transformers
... More than meets the eye!
:nerd:

It\'s from an American animated TV show from the early 80\'s. It was quite a unique show for its time and heavily influenced Japanese animators. Japan has embraced this idea so much that even noobies think Transformers are Japanese. In fact, Japan makes a lot of Transformer toys and models.
-
That\'s pretty cool. If you\'re 5.
-
am.. well I knew transformers but I never seen any footage in TV.
-
The whole idea of cars/machines that transform into robots came from "the Transformers" and it\'s been heavily mimicked all throughout animation in Japan and America. The show was a masterpiece although the \'beast wars\' and \'armada\' spin-offs are complete trash.

I keep thinking this thread is about Ninjas
