Title: Sweet WRC3/2003 screens

Supposedly will totally use Prodrive simulation this time round.

I have a feeling these screens were captured at correct res and have now been blown up.

Uhm, the resolution is 800*600 (except for two of the pics near the end), same as my TV. The capture is bad but I\'m pretty sure it\'s the correct res.

PS2 outputs at 640 x 480, same res as standard definition TV. Those captures have definately been blown up.

Post by: JP on August 27, 2003, 11:18:32 PM: Ok. I use 800*600 with tv-out from my PC so I thought the PS2 did the same. Wonder why they\'d blow them up like that.

Post by: NVIDIA256 on August 28, 2003, 09:51:13 PM: Raliisport still looks better graphic wise, as for Gameplay we have yet to see as only time will tell. Personally I love Ralli Car games, i think if more people were into this kind of racing, we might one day see the effort and resources used in making games like GT3, etc,,used in this type of genre.

The rally mode in GT3 is crap, absolute rubbish. Even Colin McRae 1 is a better rally experience than the one found in GT3. I love GT3 but the rally mode is bollox.

Hehe. I like CMR, CMR2 and WRC2 the best of all the rally games. CMR3 was crap.

Ok well considering GT3 is far from a dedicated rally game, the rally mode does fairly well in my book at least and i too have an extreme fondness of rally games.

Not only that but we all know that GT3 was somewhat rushed, even with the slight delays and this time around GT will probably be more full but something tells me that the rally mode will not be enhanced. Besides its more of a side thing to keep you entertained and not too much more.

As for the new WRC, it sounds awesome. The new screens look alright and i hope that the list of cars is updated. Ive been dying to see a Lacia Stratos in at least one of these games (i doubt it will be there though):(. And if its online then i cant wait to kick all your arses :D
