Title: A few points
Post by: clowd on September 03, 2003, 01:54:10 PM
1. Modern math is outdated.  Someone,  or even myself,  will upgrade it.

2. If a woman has the right to abort the child,  and the father has no say in it,  why, then,  does the father have to pay child support?  No rights equal no responsibility?  -I didnt think of this,  a retired trucker in my auto mechanics class did

3. Be greatful for your clean water and food.  You do not know if it may be your last,  or how easy it will be to get drink and food again.

Number 2 is so true.

For #2, the father has a say in it.  I think it\'s a requirement for the father to have a say if his child gets aborted or not.

And a father wouldn\'t have to pay child support if he stuck around for the kid, like he should.

it\'s a different story when the kid is already born. while the baby is inside the mother, the mother should have all the rights. it\'s not the daddy carrying it inside of him, its the mum.

and alliswell, how in god\'s name did you come to the conclusion that modern mathematics is outdated? is there some new physical phenomenon or theoretical blue ball that needs something other than what we have today?

It\'s outdated when something new arrives....seeing as that isn\'t the case.....

I don\'t think math is outdated. Its kind of like saying that our clock is outdated or our calender. Both have been around for thousands of years and it still works. Same with the numbers. 1+1=2 or 3x=3 and x will always equal 1. I don\'t see how that math is outdated. If it aint broke, dont fix it.

I just want to see his response when he\'s angry, it can\'t be any more incoherent than the other crap he posts.

If God were like you who could stand?

Thankfully,  he forgets our sins if we repent,  hopefully you will do the same for me.  Why do you think I changed names?  I do not want to be associated with Clowd anymore.  I have changed.

About the math

I never said I was any Math genius

Albert Einstein flunked highschool math.  And I came close.

But what it takes is an imagination.  What I meant by math being outdated is that there are simpler,  faster ways to calculate things then the current method.  Whether these ways are found 10 years from now,  or 1,000 from now,  they will be found.  I myself am already experimenting.  For example

345+543

You are told to add from right to left,  I tell you to go left to right.  If you have a decent memory its much faster.

This is a simple sample for you to see.

I am working on much more complex theories.

But like I said I\'m no math genius,  but if you think modern math is it your wrong.

Albert Einstein had a great mind,  and thats all it takes.

Soon people will be faster then a calculator,  no joke

You will be typing numbers in the calculator when you will hear the answer to the problem

First of all, let me state that I don\'t judge you by your past posts.  I try to never carry my opinions of a person out of whatever thread they are formed in, allowing people to start over in a new thread.  I don\'t hold grudges against anyone here.

Now that that\'s been said though, the thing that annoyed me about you was your arrogance and the way you seemed to think of ourself as smarter and superior to many of us in previous posts.  That was just how you came across to me.  That said, there doesn\'t seem to be much of a change when you post something to the effect of "1. Modern math is outdated. Someone, or even myself, will upgrade it."  That didn\'t bother me too much, honestly, but just pointing it out.  I was more bothered by point number three.  It\'s the only one of your three points I agree with, but something about just coming out and saying that rubs me the wrong way.  I\'m not like extremely offended or pissed about anything, but that\'s just how I felt, just to let you know :p
