Notice the 1/4 miles is pretty good but it goes 0-227 in 15.0 sec.
I have wood.........

I\'d take an El Diablo over that thing any day. Although it\'s rather impressive to say the least.
-
I saw that on the History Channel for bikes. Jay Leno was riding the Y2K and he said that no one knows what the top speed on is. The fastest ever on that bike was 230mph until the rider backed off.
-
Overkill. No one needs that kind of power-to-weight ratio. As long as the price stays $185,000, I have no problem with it. However, if it drops to $60,000 or $50,000, people might actually start buying them.
Actually, so what? Let them kill themselves. It shouldn\'t affect me. I\'d rather have a vehicle that can corner fast, than a 2-wheeled freak like this with such tiny contact patches. Notice how it runs on almost anything.... Diesel, Kerosene, JP A... Pretty funny. I wonder what\'s cheapest? Certainly not jet fuel.

A deathtrap on 2 wheels.
-
In that avatar Kurt, it kind of looks like Brittaney is eating Madonna, not kissing.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.
-
its the stares factor can you image pulling up to a light with the sound of a turbine I mean it has to be just disturbing.
-
looks horrible imo
-
Yeah it looks goofy. The seat looks like it would hurt like a bitch. I like the whole turbine idea. Really futuristic but it has no place in society. And with that price tag? Please. 230....Damn
-
Allright well how bout a Jet Turbine truck??? From the same manufacturer.

yeah those diablos are awesome, tho i prefer the theme bikes made by OCC (http://www.orangecountychoppers.com).
-
Yeah, but OCC essentially bolts on someone elses tanks and fenders. Jesse builds his own. That is the mac daddy.
They both make suite bikes, but I think West Coast has the edge in quality.
Speaking of OCC, the guys who built the fire hydrant carburetor for the fire bike are coming to be on our show in a couple weeks. I guess they are bringing one with them to show. They are putting one of their carbs on a 351 mustang we are doing.

I watch that damn show every monday American Chopper and the theme bike are very cool to "look" at alot of hard work just plain freaking awsome, That said I would never ever drive one way to much something.... The Diablo 2 I would drive did you know thats the only style he makes...
