Hmmmm, this one might be worth a look. Only time will tell.
EDIT: here\'s some game info from gamespot:
The game is set in a space station in Earth orbit in the year 2029. The game picks up shortly after the space station, which serves as a hotel, is rocked by an attack. You\'ll start the game in the station\'s main control room. Your only link to the rest of the station is a comlink with a woman named Rio who also survived the attack. Your goal in the game is to help guide Rio to safety by speaking to her through the microphone link she shares with you and watching her through the station\'s security cameras. Along the way you\'ll discover what exactly happened during the attack on the station and hopefully get around to saving yourself as well.

Ditto. Looks pretty decent to me. The premise is al least not a huge "me-too" game. Could be worth a look. Ther was another game kinda like this but it wasnt a hotel ship. The premise i think was similar to RLH but looked much better. Ill try to find it.

Heres the game i was talking about. Its called Phase Paradox. It came out in 2001 supposedly and i havent heard about it in forever. It just reminded me of this game a bit.
The story begins where Philosoma left off: Captain Nicola Michau, who pilots the Strega fighter, is en route to rendezvous with the Gallant. But when Planet 220 suddenly explodes--where the ships were set to meet-- the assault-type space carrier is severely damaged, and an unknown life form to boards it. From its outset, the game lets you choose from three different characters: Jude Sutcliffe, a first lieutenant of the Damage Control Team (DACT); Renee Hearn, a captain of the Wyvern force; and Aila Hoeybraaten, a bio lab scientist. Each character\'s quest begins in a different area of the ship, during varying time frames.
Phase Paradox\'s plot and atmosphere could best be described as The Thing meets Event Horizon. You are trapped in the space vessel, and you encounter crewmembers who have been taken over by an unknown life-form.
