John Ritter died.
Holy cow. So weird because they have been shoving these "8 Simple Rules of Dating my Teenage Daughter" promos down our throat.
Not a whole lot of info yet, but damn...

I guess we won\'t be seeing a 3\'s company reunion show.

Could you at least give a more descriptive subject heading? Coz I was about to start a "John Ritter of Three\'s Company died" thread. This thread of yours applies to a lot of shows on TV and Cable.
-
BTW....is that glass trophy a dildo? It\'s not Freudian at all when I say "That trophy is phallic shaped".
-
Was he in that film Stay Tuned .. you know the one where the guy hooked on TV shows if sucked into TV hell and has to survive 24 hours with out beeign killed ?
oh yeah found the review...
The Movie:
It\'s just weird. Peter Hyams\'s 1992 comedy starring John Ritter takes a look at the nightmare that the Knables(Ritter and Pam Dawber) are dropped into when they recieve their new satellite dish. Soon enough, the couple finds that they become more of the evil shows they\'ve watched than they\'d bargained for. When sucked into the dish, they find themselves in a series of weird, dark show parodies.
It\'s not quite as good as it could be, and the film mainly seems comfortable taking quick, light jabs as a soft satire of recent television shows. Performances from both Ritter and Dawber are entertaining, and really give the material an unexpectedly strong energy.
Shame I quite liked this guy :(..
JOHN RITTER & Johnny Cash on the same day :crying:
-
Pfffff, never heard of him.

It\'s okay. Maybe his old shows weren\'t syndicated on to your channels there.
BTW....Thanks ooseven for the addition of John Ritter to the subject heading. :)
-
He was also in a few Outer limits Episodes I believe .. the new colour ones not the old black & white one\'s.
-
I don\'t know the name but I know the face. He\'s been in quite a few shows/movies.
-

I bet she was honoured and grateful to "recieve" that award.
*cough*
-
extremely funny guy, very sad.
"8 simple rules for dating my teenage daughter" is the funniest sitcom on tv right now. It also gets very high ratings so it will be intersting to see what they do.

I wrote "John Ritter Dead" in the title and you need more description?

Was it really good? I think I gave it about 5 minutes one day and that was it.

Someone did. Coz look at the first post, Vid\'s. And look at the subject heading. No "John Ritter". Also, I would not have made the request to make the heading more descriptive if John Ritter was there.
-
He was in Problem Child.
:(
-
actually ritter died late last night and cash died today
:hat:ScottyJ:hat:

Then you probably don\'t enjoy similar hit sitcoms like According to Jim, My Wife and Kids, George Lopez...all hilarious, but I like 8 Simple Rules the most.
I really don\'t see how you could avoid laughing at either John Ritter or Katy Segal O_0

You must have seen it right after I posted it for I edited it in less than a minute.
I wrote the original, then I added the pic and edited the title within a minute.
You are just too speedy.

too bad Sammy\'s pic didn\'t show up in the quote... :)

As much as I liked Three\'s Company, usually his comedy roles got on my nerves. I\'m going to remember him for his role in Sling Blade. I never thought he was any kind of worthwhile actor before that.

Waste of money if you ask me. It\'s like trying to replace Michael J Fox in Spin City. Except he didn\'t die.

These things never work out.
*Look\'s at George Lazenby\'s single film as James Bond after Connery quit*
