Well if you live in on the east coast of the US anyway.

Better start stocking up on that good old duct tape to stick to the windows.

That\'s a gorgeous picture. Hurricane\'s are so awesome.
-
That pic is amazing. Hurricane = Cyclone right, just twists the other way?
-
In the Pacific, we calls them "Typhoon" and they\'re much much BIGGER than the ones that hit the US.
-
Where do you live?
-
I\'m not telling. :p

You live in Maryland???Then you should be a Steelers fan. :p
-
There were about 30-40 utility trucks going north on the interstate when I was driving in to work. Ah, the beauty of natural disasters to make mad cash.
-
Roofers and handymen, eh? :p
-
Pole workers. tons of those trucks that drill to put in new power lines and tons of bucket trucks. That must be some major cash because people want power back right away. I bet they make a bleeding fortune.
-
I\'m glad they went back to naming them after women again. As it should be. :)
-
Did they? I thought it was alternating between men and women\'s names.
-
yeah they alternate between mens and womens names, here is a list of the remaining names for the 2003 hurricane season:
Isabel
Juan
Kate
Larry
Mindy
Nicholas
Odette
Peter
Rose
Sam
Teresa
Victor
Wanda

its gonna hit the east coast guys who cares that coast has been nothing but problems anyways!!
-
"anyways" isn\'t a word. So there...
-
I shall kick you in your dangling participal!
-
Since I don\'t live on the coast it\'s no fun to see the hurricane weaken. The winds have dropped off considerably.
-
Winds always drop off. And hurricane force winds don\'t go very far inland. Only people who really get nailed by a hurricane are the people who live on or very near the beach. People live on these barrier islands because they are beautiful. But you know what, there is a reason for the barrier island. They keep the huge waves from nailing the actual coast.
There is an intercoastal waterway all the way up the east coast. If you live on it then you get rocked during storms. Plain and simple.
But the people understand this and just rebuild.

In any case.
-
Exactly, it\'s nonstandard.
The darn gen Yers can\'t figure out how to speak correctly so they just make up new words and shit.

Well it hit somewhat hard here in maryland. My power has been out for nearly 2 days and I have just been able to get back to work today. Downtown baltimore is under up to 7 feet of water, and nearly 1.1 million people in maryland are without power. They are saying we won\'t get power back until early next week. :(
