Jeez, I can\'t wait for LOTR: Return of the King. I just saw the trailer on the big screen last night and now I\'m stoked again... I guess the 4-disc edition of The Two Towers will help ease the pain, but it\'s not out until a month before the movie! Grrr...

So, anyone else saw the trailer and felt like creaming their pants? :D

Looking forward to seeing it, but won\'t have high expectations.  Don\'t get me wrong I\'m sure it will be great but I don\'t expect to see anything extraordinary aftter viewing (and sitting through) the first two.

I understand what you\'re saying. We kinda know what to expect now, but still - I think the whole universe is so amazing (and Liv Tyler is hot! ;)) that it\'ll be quite fantastic to watch. And I long for the day I can have all the extended versions on DVD. :D

EDIT: Besides, I think ROTK will be the coolest in the series. PJ and other crew/cast members have said so (perhaps hype, but I choose to believe them ;)) - and it is the final chapter, so to speak...

I will get around to watching the first one on DVD eventually. It\'s sat on the shelf gathering dust.

I am also a huge fan of the whole tolkein universe....

No one should refrain from reading the book before seeing the movie.  The books should be read first.

The trailer shows too much. I thought they would keep "her" hidden from trailers....just like Tolkien did until they were near "her".

I just have to wonder if "she" IS Ungoliant, or just one of the species.....

I actually wished I hadn\'t read Two Towers before I watched it....
