Do to a class action lawsuit, the settlement will be 30% off all products 30$ or more. This is freaking sweet. Time to go get christmas presents.
______________
TERMS OF THE PROPOSED SETTLEMENT
____Subject to the terms and conditions of this Stipulation, Defendants will create a Settlement Fund for the benefit of the Class in the total amount of Three Million United States Dollars ($3,000,000.00) via a bookkeeping entry. A portion of the Settlement Fund will be used for certain administrative expenses, i.e., the costs of publishing this Notice up to a maximum of $40,000. In addition, $10,000 of the Settlement Fund will be paid to Plaintiff for his service as a representative of the Class (the "Incentive Payment"). The balance of the Settlement Fund (the "Net Settlement Fund") will be distributed as described below.
____Defendants will distribute the Net Settlement Fund by providing a discount at the cash registers of all KB Toys, KB Toy Works, KB Toy Outlet, Toy Liquidator and KB Toys Express stores nationwide, including Guam and Puerto Rico, equal to 30% off all qualifying purchases of $30 or more during October 8-14, 2003. This distribution (the "In-store Distribution") will be done without requiring a request of any store customer and will be separate and apart from, and in addition to, any previously planned promotional events for 2003. Defendants will not advertise or otherwise promote the distribution in advance of the In-store Distribution. Signs detailing the terms of the In-store Distribution, however, may be displayed in or around the stores during the In-store Distribution and up to 48 hours in advance of the In-store Distribution.

Give meh the jist- im too lazy to read it all.
What lawsuit is this?
-
They post original prices inflated, then mark it down and say their price is so much better. Well the price they mark as original they would never sell it for. It\'s a fake inflated price to make their price look better.
A class action lawsuit to stop this and this is the penalty.
I looked around on their website and their prices are very high though.
But you could probably get a gamecube for 66 bucks.
-
Oh- dude I noticed this.
They have like 10 dollars for a Gi Joe- then cross it with a red slash and right 5.99 under their.
Clever- too bad they were caught.
Will all KB\'s be affected? Usually Alaska is excluded in alot of things- but im not sure about legalities. Our local KB is where alot of kids get the drug fix. I swear back in the barbie section is a bar.
-
Nope. I looked up on this. You can\'t get the discount on any gaming hardware/software.
-
So it only affects toys? etc.

Good point vid. That\'s not a bad plan at all. If I read the notice right, all US and territories are included in this. But I wasn\'t so sure if you had to actually prove you had purchased from KB in the last 3 years.
-
SUcks you can\'t get the gamecube after all. I wonder if you could find a really dumb cashier or if they discount is already in the computer.
-
Kb will hire anyone.
One of the people that works at our KB (where I buy game prephrials, because they have them in the generic) is in a wheel chair- and wears a bib.

Why not? The notice said anything > $30. Right?
-
video game systems are excluded i believe it said.
-
I\'ve searched the whole notice and the words "video" and "game" are not in it. "system" is mentioned once in another context. We need someone to verify this. There\'s not a KayBee near me at the moment.

Hmmmm. Is this something I should get for Logan if it does work out to 60 bucks? Are there a lot of kid games compared to the PS2? The only thing I have found so far for the PS2 is Piglet\'s Big Adventure. Which he loves.

Kid has good taste.
My nephews favorite games:
If he is into Scooby Doo- pick up a game for that, I think they have it for gamecube.
Other ones he might like: Sonic 2 battle, Supermonkey Ball, and some tigger game.
The sonic one is a bit advanced for someone young- but he really loves racing on that thing- its like a drug I guess. Supermonkey ball is really easy, just move the stick to where you want to go.
I can ask him if he has anyother favorites and list them (BTW: He is about 5)
-
Well Logan isn\'t even 3. He loves GT3 though. HE pushes the gas pedal, the brake pedal and drives with the steering wheel. He\'s a trip.
-
Its so funny watching little kids playing video games, brings me back to when I use to play them. I havent touched my PS2 in almost a year.

Terrorists are included in this?! Quick, someone inform the authorities.
-
Bad news
video games and systems are excluded from this sale.
-
Didnt we already state that?
Jesus- is your mind set on a delay?
-
It\'s not in the notice. You have to get the details elsewhere.
-
Look up a couple posts:
Nope. I looked up on this. You can\'t get the discount on any gaming hardware/software.

I wonder if Videogames are excluded from the sale??!?!?
!
Someone find out - if not, we could get a Gamecube for around $60 bucks!
