How about that then ?
A few Sony staffers did suggest that motorcycles would play a role in a hidden bonus section, but there is no official confirmation.
A surprise test session with a variety of superbikes suggests there may be a special motorcycle section, though Polyphony tactfully avoided the question.

The real motorbike driving simulation??That would be challenging
-
That would be great, although it would take some serious practice to keep the beast on the track. :D
-
I am gonna go out on a limb and say that that info is false. I remember hearing KY specifically state that cars are his forte, and that Polyphony were not into bikes.
Things could have changed, but I would rather have them put all their effort and energy into new tracks and graphics, rather then some bike bonus game.
-
sounds fake, think about it, for motorbikes to be done, they would have to come up with a different physics for them, and i dont think there do that , just for a bonus thing
-
I read somewhere today, think it was gamesradar which stated that Sony said there would not be any MCs in GT4.

No they wouldn\'t.
-
^^ correct. phsyics == physics.
-
they would, as motor bike behave ina different fashion to cars
-
A physics engine is designed to dictate how an object is supposed to react in the environment when given a set of parameters.
Its just like how you can give a physicist details about an object\'s mass, velocity, direction, etc. and he can give a fairly accurate representation of its movement. The laws of physics don\'t have to be rewritten for every object that you give him.
-
yeah, but i meant the way physics are on a motor bike are way different to a car, this makes sense in my head
-
Its not really physics, I dont know the word.
But a car and MC have different reactions, like a baseball has a different reaction to a bouncy ball to the enviroment. Bad analogy, but u get it.
-
yea thats what i mean, i just meant they handle completely different, and its nt real, so they have to make up, or adjut the physics engines for the game
-
They wouldnt have to change the physics engine... thats what they have been working on all these years.
All of the vehicles info such as its mass and center of gravity react to the physics engine they have created.... the only thing that would change if they added bikes would be the great difference between the cars info and the bikes info....
