Looking into a T-Maxx...  Want something 4 wheel drive that I can run in all kinds of dirt and hills and shit.

R/C cars are fun but too bad I don\'t have the time nor money to build and race one. It would be a cool hobby though.

I love R/C cars. Me and my friend race them every once in a while. Going 60Mph with 2 cars neck and neck is just insane. Many of the times we attract crowds. Fun shit.

The REAL R/C cars my friend. Not those cheap ass ones you find in toys r us. Me and my friend buy them at hobby shops. These you assemble and paint. And ass opposed to 45 dollars, these are about 150+. Quite fun really.

No, these go about 60-70+...  It\'s a 400 dollar car..  What kind do you have?  is it an asphalt or dirt car?

We (My dad and I) used to race electric rc cars. Good fun.

You guys piqued my curiosity.  Are there any sites with pics/vids of these cars in action?  This sounds like a cheaper way for me to own a late 60\'s muscle car. :)

edit- ok just saw some stuff.  Looks kinda boring, all they do is jump their cars up ramps and go crazy when they spin in the air. :confused:  An off-road race sounds like fun though.

I don\'t have any R/C car, but I want to get into it sometime. It\'d have to be a gas powered car of course, not one of those pussy electric cars. ;)

THX, they have great racing down here in FL.  THere are like 10 tracks in my area alone.  It\'s a lot cheaper than getting into go kart racing, which we have been thinking about.

They are pretty cool if you like modding cars but don\'t have enough to really mod a real car. You get pretty much get any body you want.. I\'ve seen a few of these races, they have \'em here in a huge parking lot on Friday nights.
