Title: PFDs own...

I\'ve bought:

$500 worth of drumming
$300 dollars worth of clothes (an expensive coat, and some pants/shirts)
A couple CD\'s, just for you LIC ;)
And some new shoes for next summer.

Figured I\'d share, since Alaska kicks so much ass.

By the way, an apostrophe indicates possession, therefore the title of this thread should be "PFDs own..." Unless you\'re referring to something belonging to Patrick Franklin Davis.

PFD = Permanent Fund Divident. (sp?)

Since our state is so rich in oil, and natural resources, we invested some in the stock market, some money goes back to the state, and the rest to the people of Alaska. This year it was 1100.07 or something, direct deposit. It use to be almost 2x more, but since the stock market is going down, it affects. I dont know much about stocks, but if the middle east countries are at war, oil prices go up right? So theirfore we get more.
Its actually really easy to get, Just live here for 2 years, and it is in your wallet.

I think some other states have stuff like this.

If you go to musicians friend and find a decent drum (not a shitty brown trashcan ****ing one) its about 200+ bucks, because its real wood, real quality shit. Not some garageband ****ing junk.
