Well, I can see the abuse of those shields later on. Its going to be an all deagle game, and its going to be the next banned weapon (Awp etc).

I think some of the new guns could hit it off, if properly used.

Anyway, I only play it because the superhero mod ownz ;)

Although it\'s popular to rag on CS (*cough look above *cough ;)), I don\'t think 1.6 is all that bad. I\'ve been enjoying it at least - although Steam can be pretty bad when booting your system. :(

It\'s weird how the only game (engine?) I bother to play is like 5 years old.

well i still prefer playing 1.5, but 1.6 aint half bad the sheild is quite fun to play with especially when everyones got it :P lol

I used to be an avid CS fan into clans and all that stuff, but it\'s time to move on.  It\'s been five years or so since CS first hit the net and it\'s tired now.  For starters, they need a major graphical overhaul which will probably come with Half-Life 2, whenever that is, and the game just needs more gameplay options.  You can only play Dust, Italy, what-the-f*ck-ever so many times until the same \'ol routines are happening day in and day out.  Not to mention the fact that you can\'t be a great player unless someone calls you a cheater, repeatedly, until you\'re banned by some moronic newbie admin or whatever.  I\'ve been there, I\'ve done that, I\'ve moved on.

The fact is, there\'s so many great games that have been out and are coming out that it\'s time to put this CS mod to rest.

Well, there\'s Max Payne 2, Command and Conquer Generals\\Zero Hour, Warcraft III\\Frozen Throne, Rainbox Six 3: Raven Shield\\Athena Sword, Battlefield 1942\\Secret Weapons of World War II\\The Road to Rome, Halo: Combat Evolved, Homeworld 2, Call of Duty, Freelancer, Serious Sam: The Second Encounter, No One Lives Forever 2 -- and there\'s a bunch of others including each games subsequent mods which vary from crappy to friggin awesome.

I agree with much of your list, except:

Serious Sam
No One Lives Forever

Both of which blow.  Are you talking about multiplayer, or single player?
