A shame that a guy would be more concerned about his car than his girlfriend/wife\'s well-being.  I weep for the future.

Dude.....the man made the situation into a light hearted one. His wife backed the car up into a post, based on the shape of the dent. I\'m sure if his wife was hurt, I doubt he would make such a joke.

Ya can\'t take everything too seriously.

he should be hung by his testicles, to think that a man would dare make fun of a woman.  For Shame....

On another note, anyone notice how dumb men are?

Ignore\'s theomen\'s obvious flamebait ;)

It\'s either that he\'s making fun of whatever girl backed into a post.... or he\'s trying to cover up the fact that he backed into a post in a humerous way.

I was actually purpously making fun of the double standard that white males are open game for jokes, but most any other group is off limits.

Spudz, I realize the joke.  I just think it\'s also funny that some guys love their cars more than their significant other.

Putting this picture under a titled with the word mysogynist doesn\'t really make it light-hearted, but I\'m not overly sensative to such offenses, at least not today.

Would you rather white males be the minority group and not have the power in society so they can make fun of whoever is in the majority and in power?

Dude, who do you know that loves their car more than their chicas? I mean, my girlfriend wants to drive my car every day, do I let her?..........HELL NO!!! GIRLS CANT DRIVE!!!!.........

Nah, but really, she just got her license and she has a heavy foot. She drives her mom\'s car and it\'s the type you gotta step really hard in to the pedal in order to make it go. Do that in my car and she\'ll die.

And, pshh...minorities my ass, try going into politics without knowing spanish...

Iz you talkin to moi?

If you are, I trust my baby...just not with my car...at least not yet. Man, this guy at her church let his girl borrow his FIREBIRD, before she gets out the parking lot she runs into the curb, messing up his cool beans wheels.

It\'s a car.  It takes you from A to B.  It does nothing more beyond that.  The sooner you realize that, the more you\'ll realize it\'s just a thing and things can be replaced.

Yeah, unless it\'s a really nice car that you worked your ass off to buy it. I mean it\'s one thing if the girl gets hurt, it\'s another if she got off with nothing, and left the car looking like shit.

A guy can still show a girl a good time without a car or money.  If you really worked at it, there\'s a lot of things couples can do together out of the norm and still have fun.

In five years, you\'ll want a different car.  The novelty wears off over time.  That\'s just the way it is and that\'s why I never get too attached to anything material.  People get new computers about every two years, new consoles every four, new TV\'s every five, new furniture every ten -- the car is no different.  It takes you from A to B.  Nothing more, nothing less.  Now, if you were restoring an older car to turn a profit in the sale, well, then maybe I can see that, but that\'s not what you\'re doing here.

It\'s Don\'t They...B/C Possessions is plural...

NO, not really. I mean would I like a job. HELL YES. WHY? Gas, Dog, food, fun, Girlfriend.

I\'ve spent at least 200+ on my girl, on b-days and x-mas and stuff.

And Rya...she lives like 20 minutes away. On a different city, so there\'s no way I could take the bus. We\'ve done everything out of the norm, Picnic, swimming, bike riding, shooting, fishing, and all that good stuff. But, I mean I would like to take her out somewhere where I don\'t usually take her. November 26 is our ONE year anniversary!!! YAY!!! and I know that she loves this restaurant, but I also know that that restaurant loves money. Soo, I\'m gonna have to start saving up or something :(

....OR what do you mean "out of the norm"?!?

That\'s a different story then.  But if she knows that you\'re financially not ready for the restaurant, I\'m sure she\'d understand.  Cooking for her would be way romantic.

Well, I mean. It\'s my first car. Besides, She knows I\'ll let her drive it, but shes still kinda learning the ropes.

Rya, I ALREADY DID THAT!!! For her B-day, I baked a cake for her. With Curious George on the front. Pictures hand made by me...funny that George looked like a cat :( She still loved it though. Her family wasn\'t going to celebrate her B-day, she was sad, so I did it for her.

As if guys aren\'t materialistic.  How many of have picked up a game on the first day?  Spent time upgrading your computer or car?  Everyone except nuns and monks are materialistic.

Because women have the power behind the curtains.  Where\'s the credit to those women controlling powerful men?  Besides, I like complaing.  It\'s comforting.  :p

What the hell does that have to do with women who want some blingbling from their men? If you buy YOUR stuff, who cares? So why does it matter if WE buy stuff for us? This is what you wrote :

I spend PLENTY of money on my sweet heart. But I spend PLENTY on me too. Just like the guy who bought that sweet car that his woman dented.

We got to have our poonani or we just don\'t do nothin\'. You ladies have no idea the power you hold on men. Just say "No Desert" for one month, and I PROMISE YOU.....he\'ll eat his food out of your shoes if you asked him. Or....if he\'s like me, I\'ll....get another girl. :D

Improving on something you already have is not being materialistic. Buying a brand new car or computer when your old one is fine is.

yea i think that a relationship is about trust  - but there is common sense in there too

i mean i trust my little cousin but im not gonna let him take my car for a spin for the simple reason that hes not old enough and has not got the experience that one should to drive normally without being all nervous

but as to spending money on my gf, i tend to go over board - today i was in the mall just passing time and i find this curious geogre doll - what a coiencidence there - and i picked it up for her - she has a thing for monkeys

hell ive prolly spent about 250 on just flowers over the last year and a half - shes running out of baskets for the flowers

and her bdays and christmas i get carried away lol

but she gives it all back to me in things like clothes and a new gamecube

its all about give and take - true essence of any relationship

Flowers suck... My gf just throws them away after they die the next day. She specifically says, "no flowers, no stuffed animals"... So her bday which was a few weeks ago I got her a promise ring, these girly "soccer princess" slippers with a matching head band, and this girly necklace that has different types of candy from it, and a poem.

My gf gives it all back in hugs and kisses. Not the chocolates either.

I don\'t believe in flowers, chocolates, stuffed animals(except their favorite type), and stuff like that.

For X-mas I gave muh love a perfume "Very Sexy" by VS. For her B-day, she has a thing for crosses, so I gave her a white gold necklace with a white gold cross!!! I don\'t buy her things everyday to make her "feel" special. To me girls should know if a guy considers them truly something, it doesn\'t require gifts and crap everday or mushy poems or flowers or being different around her than you are with everybody else. Im me everywhere, with her or without her, yeah I don\'t cuss around her but other than that im the same way. I do get her things, but small things that I find and I know she would like. I gave her a "thing 1" from the cereal box and she loved it. I also gave her some stuffed monkey i found laying around my house, she\'s like in love with that one.
