Title: Member rights
Post by: ##RaCeR## on October 19, 2003, 05:10:24 PM
Is it possible to give all members the right to delete their own threads if there have been no replies made?

Its so frustrating when you post a thread in the wrong forum or make a mistake with a poll etc and you can\'t do anything about it.

If there are no replies I can\'t see why this is a problem.

Yeah, the option is their.

But it doesnt work.

I mean, it would save mods alot of time too.

^^

I suppose as long as you post count gets deducted along with the deleted thread... I can see it now, people creating and then deleting threads to increase their count. Sad.

I think the problem is if you screw up and it\'s a loaded thread, you delete a bunch of posts and then people will whine.

At least I assume that is why it\'s that way here.

We look at the threads though so if you screw up, just say you screwed up.

poltiepet had a screwd up thread today.  He just wiped out the original post and said delete this thread.  So I did.
