Rather than just pump this game up, let me put things plainly. SSX 3 expands upon Tricky in every way and then plants the whole game into a cohesive mountain that\'s rideable from top to bottom. It is better looking, better on the ears, and far deeper upfront and in the long run than its predecessors. From my perspective (someone who loves extreme sports games and has always liked the 1080 series), this is the best snowboarding game I have ever played. It\'s arcade-centric, trick heavy, and on the third peak, it\'s brutal, but in the end, nothing comes close to SSX 3.

Glad to see they spent some effort actually making it better than just spitting out another sequel with a few little gimmicks and more snowboarders. Good work! :grin:

Yeah seriously, I know a lot of people have grown tired of the SSX series and im sure they will be posting so soon enough but im glad that this one may actually bring something back to the series. Ill wait to hear more about it before i decide on anything though.

As far as "growing tired," I don\'t really see that happening. I haven\'t played Tricky in more than a year, so I\'m not sick of it. Both of the first two were very entertaining. This one will be also. Good investment the way I see it.

Something I didn\'t know about EA Online games is that you can talk to anyone on your buddy list even when you and your buddies are on different games.

I just don\'t see why you\'d deprive yourself of SSX3 to play Mario Kart. If you don\'t have T3H MON3YS.. rent both!

I cant understand why PSM2 said SSX3 wasn’t as good as SSX Tricky.. I always thought Tricky was WORSE than SSX.

Btw, why does Viggo "Rolig" (Never heard that last-name before, Rolig = Funny) not speak Swedish? He\'s swedish after all, would it be so hard to find a actor? JP, Hiro, Kaori, Marty (Mac in PAL version of Tricky) etc. all spoke their respective language?
