The Doors

However - what defines old? Is the 80\'s old? Maybe the 70\'s? And what about the 40\'s? Ah, the damn paradox!

Earth Wind and Fire <<<< Easily my favorite
I don\'t have any particular favorite song from any except for a few from EWF. These are the groups in my old school mp3 collection and the people I always look for when making a mix CD.
[Edit] How could I forget The Godfather of Soul James Brown AND the O\'Jays?
-
Most any classic rock, I guess. 60\'s, 70\'s, some 80\'s, some 90\'s.
I don\'t listen to most modern music, though. 90\'s alternative/rock, death metal, 80\'s-90\'s heavy metal, country.. anything that relates to goths.. all mostly foreign to my preferences.
-
TSOL, but they are still playing so i dunno if that counts.
-
Man, I listen to so many old bands it would take about 6 years to list \'em all.
Lately I\'ve been listening to alot of CCR.
-
oo forgot Zapp & Rogers
EW&F also a great band
-
Pink Floyd, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix Experience, The beatles, Creedance Clearwater Revival, 3 Dog Night, Presidents of the United States of America, R.E.M., The Byrds, Rolling Stones
Relatively new compared to the ones above, but SmashingPumpkins im listening to pretty much every day.
-
I forgot some of the real oldies
Johan Sabastian Bach
Mussorgsky
-
Everything Zeppelin
-
Presidents of the United States of America
Just saw them in concert, it sucked.
-
They are still around? wtf
-
Yup.
The eagles are still around but they were created years ago, thats what I mean by old.
BTW: Their greatest hits is out! Just picked it up- :)
-
I can\'t even imagine goin\' to see the Presidents of The United States of America in concert.. It was a decent mindless band in the 90\'s, but thats about it.
-
I got in free.
-
The Eagles were in town last night, that was amazing.
