Somebody has too much time on their hands.
-
Holy crap. Who the hell would buy such a thing?....
Wait a minute, the company is located in Mukilteo, WA... Could it be that a Microsoftie is the client? :p
-
Well, I really like star wars a lot, but even I wouldn\'t do something so insane. Besides, without DVD, the original trilogy is worthless on that TV.
-
I\'m no Star Wars fan, but that is downright amazing.
I\'ll be glad to buy my own house, so I can have my dedicated HT.
-
I\'d rather have a Star Trek setup and sit in the Captains chair, way cooler.
-
Screen is too small for that room, and the audio is bound to suffer due to those wacky acoustics. Looks like it was built more for looks than for function, it\'s cool but I couldn\'t watch my movies from the middle or back seeats!
-
OMG that is ****ing awesome. If I were filthy rich, this would be in my house. I wonder if those stars slide by in the room...
-
Nice...
Very nerdy, but nice.

Well, I don\'t know the details, but it sounds like they thought about acoustics as well (THX stuff and ... uh, yeah. Stuff.).
-
The design of it has to many obstructions for the sound to flow evenly

thx doesn\'t mean anything. If the walls are all shapely with high ceilings audio will suffer no matter what. Take the same speakers in that room and put it in a square basement and there will definitely be a difference.
If I had the option to do that mine would be much more elegant.

Wouldn\'t score as many nerd points but I\'d probably live in these rooms anyway. :nerd:

6th one kicks ass.
Have any other pictures of it?

If I was rich, I\'d get a home theater system. But I\'m not so I guess I have to resort to a TV :)
-
I would almost debate the high ceilings. I know of a theatre that the ceilings are around 16 foot tall, and it has awesome sound. It is a strange setup, but it sounds damn nice.
-
I picked up a magazine today, and it featured some of the high-end home theatre\'s, one of which costed 10 million alone. It was a re-done basement and the owner spent 10 million dollars to make it top of the line and believe me, it looked it.
I just wish I was rich,so I could splurge 10 million dollars on something like that.
And I gotta agree with Capcom - him and I set up a home theatre for his boss, who had a large square room, with a huge high-rise skylight / ceiling in the middle. The sound was terrific, as the sound would reverb back and forth. I wouldn\'t of figured it would of worked out so well, but it did.
